VB blows. We signed up for this class in the hopes that we would learn how to make games. Yet we have had no promises. No nothing. We did nothing of the sort in QB either.

I'm pretty much coughing my lungs out in VB. I think we need to just skip to the good stuff.

Teguru: We are just doing what we think is going to help the government. Poor people cannot run for positions in the government because we do not have the funds. They made the election process so that only the rich can ever hope to get win. As for the boy, people have tried to release that seal on him, none have succeeded. We think that the only way it can be broken is if that Suki girl helps him break it. However that won't happen, so he's stuck with it.

Teguru: Now then pardon me while I go make preparations. If you wish you may go and visit the boy up in his room before he leaves.

There is a long white haired youth sitting on the dock. There is cloth wrapped around his eyes. He wears a cloak on the left side of his body. As well as large criss-crossing belts over his chest, each with a sword tucked in them on his back. His pants are woolen, and his boots are made of thick leather.

Youth: Brother where are you?

He mumbles to himself those words over and over.

Daikirai: Was that you? In my memory?

The boy rose slowly. The sheets fell away from his body, revealing his scarred upper torso.

Daikirai: Would you like to see my other memories? It could make you feel more in touch with what we are doing here for Genkimetsu. For the country.

This is like the Megaman X stuff if you have ever played that game Kyo_Starr. I've got the collection for 'cube so I can show you sometime so you'll have a better idea.

A young Reploid with dark black armor and gold trimmings walks past the Maverick Hunters HQ thinking if he should go in. His helmet was adorned with three golden horns protruding from the center. Long black hair hangs from his helmet and his eyes are dark to match. An energy sword hangs from his hip. With a shrug he walks into the building, he was going to see if the Maverick Hunters were half of what they were cracked up to be.

The young Reploid with the black hair walked up to the front desk at the Maverick Hunter HQ and inquired as to where he could join. He was directed down the hall to a pair of large doors. He stood in front of them and took a deep breath, then stepped inside.

The youth rises up and turns to Vincent.

Youth: My brother is who I am looking for. He is a sickly boy. I remember that much. We were separated a few years ago. He needs a thick cloak in order to keep himself warm. He is extremely vulnerable to the cold. Chances are he will be in a health care facility.

The youth turns his gaze to the sea.

Youth: Where might you be going? I'm going by sea to try and find my brother in the Western lands. Of course we'll have to enter each of the Southern ports on the way there. So I'll be checking there too. Just in case. Don't fear the Southern lands, if you are strong they will accept your rights as an individual. Then you may pass through freely. Once we arrive in the Western lands, however they will require that we take their special ritual. Which all people must take in order to become citizens. I won't need to take the citizenship test. But we'll have to take one for Right of Passage in other places.

I thought that the game's difficulty was a lot better than that of Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow. Those two games were way too easy the first time around. My biggest problem was how the side quests from Wind/Eric had pretty crappy descriptions on some of them. As far as teh two character thing goes, I didn't mind it. I think that those little things that you can trigger with Vincent are amusing, however on the other hand, the combat was somewhat unsatisfying. The game had a lot of potential. If only they made these games with the kind of length that Symphony of the Night had. Then I think that they'd be a lot stronger.

Yeah, they removed some of the classes. Which is kind of a downer. However this game was able to successfully survive a 2D to 3D transistion. Which is a great accomplishment for any 2D game. It was able to keep the spirit of the game while adding something to it.

I don't really like the battle system. In my opinion if they wanted to eliminate random encounters they should've done what they did for Tales of Symphonia. Instead of throwing almost countless enemies at you. For example on the Leviathan, when they throw enemy swarm after enemy swarm after you. That's unnecessary. Sure being able to just set a bunch of Gambits and let your party rip through an area is cool and it makes you feel good about yourself. But, it takes some of the challenge of it. Just because they have real time battles I don't really approve of that crap like the demon wall at Raithwall's Tomb. That's just gay. I think they need to take it slow with new things. This isn't a franchise that can take such radical changes. I like the game. But, there are lot of little problems that distract from the good things about this game.

I like this game. I think it is a real improvement upon the first one. They managed change a few things and introduce new things without completely killing the game. Making Blathers have the ability to check fossils instead of having to mail them to some far away agency slowed things down a little.

Toru grins wickedly planting his hands on the ground the pushes himself off the ground.

Don't think that this will end so quickly.

A wind began to blow about him. He held his blades in front of him. The wind was spinning him about. It then shot him down, a spinning figure with shining blades held in front. While spinning the youth called upon the element of earth to coat himself in armor. Then bathed his body in fire.

Daikirai places his hand on her forehead, and closes his eyes.

Images of Daikirai surrounded by swirling black flames appear in Kaede's mind. He is walking through towns burning houses. Killing anyone who gets in his way. No matter who they were. He laughs maniacally the whole time. The other members of Genkimetsu are further away, doing the same thing as he is. Praising him even.

Other images of Daikirai as a child getting rocks hurled at him appear.

Others of him getting cut trying to protect Kesiri with his body. Then going berserk, witht he flames swirling around him, and the wounds opening on his body.

An overwhelming sense of despair is deep down in the midst of these memories.

The images stop, and Daikirai appears in front of her once more. Sitting in the bed with the sheets fallen from his chest.

Daikirai: So, what did you think?

I will post the chapters later on. I do not have them with me and my flash drive is not in my possession. So I can't give them to you that way. However I am requesting people's opinion on this draft. Once I get them here I would appreciate it if people read it and give me their feedback. Or if you are just reading it for entertainment, that's cool too.

I forgot about the pushing thing. That was a nice add in. Although I always forgot about it. *chuckles* The bonus experience was wonderful for the characters that were tough to level up too. Like the clerics or Rolf. This is my favorite Fire Emblem I would have to agree with you Xenesis.

I agree this game can get boring quickly. I think if you had the ability to have your friends come to your town often with Wi-fi it would keep interest longer.

For those of you at the end of the game about how many hours of playing time do you think there are up to the point where you are at the end? Exluding side quests that you may have done up to the end.
