| Hi,
I would like to be approved in this site. Well, let me tell you about myself. I been hacking since '99. I been hacking NES and SNES roms, mostly Final Fantasy. I first hacked Final Fantasy 1 for NES through Tile Layer Pro for graphics and Hexpose for Texts. I started out Final Fantasy 1 for the start and then understanding how to hack it. Then when I got better and started hacking Final Fantasy III (VI) for SNES. However, The SNES was harder because of how much the palette are much different from NES. So, I took time by reading the documents on how to hack the text and graphic from Zophar.net. The later when I got better I started hacking Zelda, Mario Bros., Final Fantasy and Secret of Mana. I really enjoy hacking old school system such as NES and SNES. I tried to hack SMW before but then I found out I lost interest in it. I really don't know why. Maybe, it just not my type. However, if it's required to hack SMW for this board. I would hack it. Thanks for your time. |

| Introduction:
Hiya, I'm Dark Bahamut and you noticed my name from Final Fantasy. I love Final Fantasy series..... sadly, my interest is old school Final Fantasy. I'm not into modern ones like Final Fantasy for PSX or PS2. Don't kill me XD. So, I love to hack Final Fantasy or other classic games... mostly RPG. What's fun about hacking is that you do the work and share with it to people and they will try to have fun with your hack. I'm planning to hack Final Fantasy IIIj for Famicom but then I won't have nmuch time due of college now. My college will be done next month then I will have more time to hack games. Look for my hack soon. Thank you for reading my introduction. I know I could write more but I' m at the school lab since I was dumb enough to left my laptop at my girlfriend's house T_T. |

| I know this isn't the problem for everyone but for me, yes.
I'm adopted by the white family and then I grew up with them. I felt different from my real family because sometimes being adopted is hard for me. I found out my real dad left the family after I was adopted and he blames my real mom because he thought she did it on purpose. It wasn't my mom's fault because we had 6 children in our family that she had to take care of. So, me and my younger sister were adopted. Then I finally got in touch with my real sister and she told me that my real dad is dying of alcholic, due the depression of me and my younger sister been seperate from them. I kinda feel weird because I really missed being with my real family. Because they are my blood. Have anyone here is adopted so I don't have to feel like I'm the only one? I know this isn't an approriate topic to be in here. Mods, you can change or delete this. Thanks.... |

Well, my younger brother was also adopted too. He sees his real family more often but that's fine with me. It doesn't bothers me much. I still talk to my real sister via texting and we visit each other, which I'm glad. Well, my dad did it because he thought I was dead (yes, I know that it's weird) because he haven't heard from me since 19 years. I'm 22 if you want to know. So, I fetl mad at my real dad because he was doing stupid thing such as drinking. He abused my mom (that's what I heard from my sister) and my mom loves him no matter what. Whatever my dad do, my mom still loves him. I'm still mad inside for that. I was adopted about few weeks old when I was born. I was premature and I was 6 months old, I think. I'll check with my foster mom about that. Stayed in the hospital for few months until I fully can survive. Here's the interesting fact. My family illegally crossed the border from Mexico and then I was in my mother's tummy. I was few hours to be born. My dad got shot in the leg by the cops (scary) and then if I didn't make it.... I would be dead. I thank god and my family to make me alive. |

| Hi,
Sorry for not being in this board for awhile because I was busy with college because school will be over in 3 weeks. Anyways, I have a huge problem with hacking through the game. I'm looking for a missing terrain for Geomancer. I was surfing through warmech.net and download the AVI of gameplay in Final Fantasy III. I've noticed that the Geomancer uses the terrain attack that wasn't in the final. It shows many falling leaves on the screen and it does no damage to the enemies but the spell name is Jishin which is Japanese for Earthquake. Is there a way I can find missing spells or stuff in the game? I want to restore the "lost" spells for my hack. I also edit the AVI video to the part I was talking about. |

| In how do I edit it?
Is there a way to make it run and something triggers like spells or attacking and it freezes the emu;ator telling you that's there any changes? Hopefully you get what I mean. |

| No, I do not know what it is. When it popped on the taskbar. It shows a world with little script.

| Oh its for my Geography class.
So, Czechoslovakia been splitted? But why does my teacher still use that name. Same with the other one. I can't remember I think its Yogo(something, sorry I cant remember the name) I'm very interested with Geography and countries. I wonder if someone else in here feels the same that they like to learn about the world and countries. |

| Hi,
I drop on doing my Final Fantasy III (Famicom) hack because I thought of Final Fantasy VI while working on it. 
However, I started working on Final Fantasy VI. I have few questions about it: 1) The Sprite Editor doesn't work well on my XP. Every time I change my character's sprite, the eraser button doesn't work. Also the character's sprite disappeared from the box. 2) Is there a good Final Fantasy VI hacking site that have good information on it? 3) Does the palette shares by each characters? Thanks. |

| Sorry if I had to bump this old thread.... however I got some news about my dad (I mention little about him on the early topic)
My real dad passed away on Christmas Eve (yes, I know its two months ago but then I forgot about this topic I still have) He died from alcoholic poisoning. My real sisters told me about his death. I was so deavasted (sp?) about it. She told me that he drank so much alcohol over the years and he have those weird blister on his legs. If you touch it it'll pop like that and you can die from it. That what my sister told me. Mind you, My sister speaks Spanish and she doesn't speak English well and so she might be wrong in some way. Anyways, I felt it's like my fault that I haven't talk to him over the years because of seperation from birth from adoption. Last time I saw my dad when I was age 5. Now, I'm 22. My sisters and my foster parent said to me that it wasn't my fault. But I do feel it's like my fault. Pretty hard for me T_T. |

I'm doing re-graphic (is that a word?) for Final Fantasy VI Advance. I just started it yesterday and then I like how it comes out. Here's one screen of my work in progress.

| Do anyone use the service such as Netflix or Blockbuster or some others?
I use Netflix and love it because they have many DVDs that Blockbuster don't have. For example: Blockbuster does not have many good import movies such as Battle Royale. Netflix does carry them. Which service do you have? |
