| I was wondering if there were around here perhaps a few people knowledgeable on NES games. I have three which I wish to locate, but they're rare and I do not know their name. Two of them were in fact some of those "grab a random game and smack a Mario 3 frame ontop of the main caracter" type of things.
I'm not writing the descriptions here because I realize that perhaps NES isn't really much of a topic here anymore, but....if there are people willing to take on this totally pointless challenge, I'll go ahead, Lol. -Martens |

| Well, this looks like one of the few places which might offer any sort of response, so here it goes:
All of them are platform style side scrollers First Game A medium-high graphical quality game in which you get to control a guy in armor, more or less slightly bigger than a Megaman frame accordingly to my memory estimations. The armor is light blue, and his means for defense are throwing a boomerang, which can be upgraded to be thrown farther away, and also to acquire a red glow which causes it to inflict serious damage. It featured a stage select, and one of its levels began outside, with tanks on the background you'd move onto and past. Their cannons would fire intermitently, so you had to time things right not to get blasted. Second Game One of those "pseudomario" games where they just stuck the Mario 3 sprite onto the main character. It began with a small intro level, in the outside. Greeness and trees on the far background, the ground consisted of stone in a white-pinkish/Orangeish colors. The character was armed with a cane, with which he would stab his enemies. After the intro, there is a stage select. After beating each, with their respective bosses, there'd be new abilities for the cane: throwing it, enlargening it, or making it work like a ventilator of sorts. After you beat the levels you'd get a power which would shoot a powerful blast but draw your own energy each time, as you advanced to the final level. On the last boss you'd battle all the bosses all over again and then you'd get pwned by a huge statue in the background, heh.
This is what one of the levels looked like. You fell from the upper right area. The boss of that level is a giant bee like thing. Third Game Another "pseudomario" game. The main character was able to curl up into a ball, I can remember. No, it's not one of those sonic games. At the end of each level you'd find this:
You'd have to jump as farther to the right as possible for points. Also between each levels was a thingy like this:
slightly resembling Mario. Only the big squares are actual levels. If you lost your lives you'd go to a theaterlike screen where about 10 copies of your character would run around and do some strange jumps....And stuff. ----- Well, that's about it. Not much, isn't it? They're probably Japanese games, at that. It's a little vague but it's all I can do, lol. -Martens |

| Ah, we have a winner. Armadillo is the game.
The other two aren't the ones mentioned, though : ) I guess I'll keep looking. |
