In this case, I think an exception is made because posting an IPS of it would STILL contain 3/4 of the game data/code/etc. Not much choice, really...

(They tend to work with disassembled versions of the games, which they make whatever changes in and then reassemble. Because of this, the new ROM image is not guaranteed to have anything in the same place, just about.)

I think you're just getting confused with the fact that all of the models in the game are in fact combinations of the biometals with Model X. ZX, PX, HX, FX, LX, OX. No ZP or ZO or LH.

I still haven't gotten the game yet, haven't had the chance. That, and my DS is a good 300 miles away right now... It looks quite awesome, and I enjoyed the Zero games immensely.

EDIT: I'd suggest removing the +4 bonus, actually. It's rather harsh.

I think the sluggishness of the controls would balance out the speed decrease, actually.

I tried emulating the Japanese version, but it always froze right before you fight the first boss. I was using the same emulator as Cirvante, too.

No matter. I should be getting the real US one soon enough.

Have you tried disabling some layers? That helps

Doesn't matter any more. Got the real thing now.

Model Px is fun, even if it's not the most useful thing in the world. I'm probably just easily amused, though.

(That, and it completely SLAUGHTERS normal ground-based enemies. They can't handle the barrage of throwing knives.)

Hmm. It's a rather tough question for me. (And no, that's not a "I'm winning with the new system so I'm going to try to play fair even though I'm not really")

I rather like how the new system is guaranteed to be <= 1 a day. Makes it a bit easier to keep up with, not worrying about missing 2 or more questions because you only checked once a day.

However, at the same time... I think the 2-guess-per-question-set thing needs some work. Either that, or the bonus system. I think I got a good amount of my current points from just the bonuses, along with more gimmicks than anyone else playing at the moment.

Also, on the matter of restricting gimmicks from 1st place... I haven't seen too much of a use for the first place person when they have them. Steal would be most useful with the second place, as it would create a -2 situation for first place relative to the one who stole it. Thumps will at most give 2 questions of reprieve, although it seems the most useful for the time being. I consider it more of a vengeance weapon, though... "You got the one I wanted, so I'm going to thump you in retaliation". Juxtapose is the most powerful, but again limited in effect for first place; leading by 10 is the same as leading by 15 for the time being. It'd be more of an impact when the game is near an end, or when a player wants to quickly jump ahead of someone else--which again applies more for lower places.

For now, I'd call this an "abstain". When I can make an objective decision one way or the other, I'll make it.

(I find it amusing I had the same point total when you retired the old system as I do now that you're looking over the new one.)

I still think the bonuses are a bit broken, though.
