I actually rather like canned pineapple. Not sure if I like it or fresh better, but it's a good fruit in general. Used to have it with my lunch quite a bit, but I don't do that too much now.

That's definitely VERY nice. For the time being, that room on the right (your junk room, if I remember right?) looks a bit off perspective-wise, but I think that's mainly because the room directly below it (connected to the hallway) isn't complete yet. Also, Setz's comments about the curtains is right, but it definitely doesn't detract much from the work.

Nice job. Looking forward to seeing more of it.

Slight problem with that idea. It's not like there's some power void for someone to step into and suddenly become all-powerful or something. He'd just be a freak trying to cash in on the (lack of) mass hysteria.

EDIT: Suggenly?

If it goes on too long, you have to somewhat worry about what you'd be missing. Technically dropping out of school because the system failed would NOT help anyone with life, I'd think.

Most probably didn't, actually. I know I didn't.

If nothing else, at least he's not forcing it into the public eye that much. He made one topic about it, as he's done for each of his others; he hasn't put it in his sig, he hasn't posted it in general screenshots, he hasn't done any number of things. And, if nothing else, at least he never tried to sell something like it in stores.

I personally enjoy my chocolate without nuts. Peanut butter cups, peppermint patties, and things along the line of Nestle Crunch bars are good, but... Other than that, I rather enjoy it without having other things in it.

Never tried much white chocolate. I don't remember how it tastes...

No. No he isn't. He's saying that there's enough people in general who do to guarantee that by him saying "we", he's not just referring to himself and the voices in his head.

I like oysters. Put them in a stew... Or fried clams... yum!

(In other news: If that was a joke, it wasn't a very good one.)

That wouldn't change whether or not the people would trust the troops well enough to stop at the checkpoint. Also, once the bullet's gone through, there tends not to be too much that can be done to save either mother or child.

The issue is that at least a few expect to get SHOT because they DID STOP. Allowing medical service won't help if the people would still refuse to accept it.

Banana-orange juice? Freaky. I like orange juice unadulterated by other flavors, thank you very much.

(Mmm... Orange juice. It's a good way to start the morning. I love the stuff...)

That definitely depends on the individual and the circumstances. In a situation like Cirvante seems to be describing, a lot of the facilities for any method of continuing education would probably be strained at best, especially with such an arbitrary timing.

How did you continue from that point? I'm pretty sure I remember you mentioning you're in a community college now, but did you get a GED or what? Just curious.

Ahh... Okay, cool. I actually knew someone who dropped out in 10th grade to pursue his GED to try to get into college early, but I never heard anything from him after that.

I personally went through the standard 4 years high school. A lot of the normal classes were kinda stupid, but... there were a few major worthwhile ones, too. Actually wound up starting college with almost a full year's worth of credit, which is rather nice.

Either way, (insert the obvious statement about differences in situation between one who chooses that path and one who is forced into it).

I'm inclined to say the most evil thing I know of are the people who define the ones who hold the opposite viewpoint as being unequivocably evil. Villifying the opposing side is one of the most ignorant things people can do, while also the most dangerous. If you define someone as purely evil, it means that one will not feel anything for destroying them; as such, anything up to mass murder would be seen as possibly being okay.

This is probably not quite related to the subject, but am I the only one who finds that thought a bit disturbing? If enough people believed that way, wouldn't it create a new, even more arbitrary means for discrimination against a minority?

Also, everything that is considered to resemble true by science is just a theory, no matter how much evidence.
