Thoughtless: Science class is the next most likely type of class to have it in, depending on if health or sex-ed classes are common. After all, some schools don't require you to take health, but most require you to take science.

Mario_man: In other words, the teacher should get in trouble for doing something completely within their power that they specifically warned you about, during which you didn't pay attention and thus believe it's something completely illegitimate? A lot of legitimate educational materials can be considered pornographic, but that does not stop them from being legitimate educational materials, especially when they explicitly attempt to tell the parents.

A few nitpicky things: The corner blocks in the water don't look quite right, and you have a garbage tile above the first nipper plant. I know you said no new graphics, but it would probably be good to draw in a ground-corner-with-water graphic.

Otherwise, it looks pretty good.

Sounds like you need to both fix the palette and change the mappings. I think there's a tool on SMWCentral for the second thing, but the first one you're on your own for.

Of course, you can also just copy each individual tile over the one it's replacing, meaning that all you'd have to do is change the palette.

I'd suggest a dark outline around the trees to keep with the style of the other graphics. Get rid of those horizontal lines too... They look remarkably like garbage from putting the tiles in wrong.

I actually rather enjoy Lightning Melee... definitely helps the reflexes a bit. Slow-motion is rather bad, though, I'll agree.

Is it just me, or are a lot of the votes based on "I CAN BEAT EVERYONE AT THIS GAME SO WE SHOULD PLAY IT"?

(Bomberman! I may have a chance at that one, and it's loads of fun... And it seems like a good way of relieving whatever gripes you may have with the other competitors.)

4 copies of damn doesn't make the topic better.

Occasionally perhaps topics will get closed a bit prematurely, oh well. Make sure you look through the FAQs first; if you have a problem not specifically answered in those, you MAY want to ask one of the people that are listed that you can PM/IM for help. If your problem hasn't shown up in the FAQs or on the first (possibly second, not sure how stringent the mods are) page, THEN you can post a topic. Otherwise, it'll get closed for being in the FAQ.

At least, that's how I see it. You can't really expect the mods/admins to personally PM every single new person to make sure they know what they're doing.

By the way: Hex isn't complicated. Count to F instead of to 9; yippee.

Why do you insist on exploiting the signed number system?

Moreover, why did they count score as signed rather than unsigned integers? It bothers me.

He means the 9th row. They're palette entries 80-8F, meaning the 9th row and all columns.

EDIT: Actually, I think putting the mouse over it shows the palette entry number. It's the row that changes when you mess with the Mario/Luigi/Fire Mario/Fire Luigi setting.

EDIT AGAIN: It's the 9th down, not the 8th. It's the one that lists the palette number as 8 on the right hand side. I wasn't sure if it counted from 0 or 1, but the first row is row 0.

Why do people keep insisting the Gamecube failed? It may have been last place for sales, but it's not like it flopped or something. Nintendo still made good money off the system, and it still had a LOT of good games...

Nice to see the extended character limit for the names. Although, I never really have understood the name "Last Elixer", but that's not a very important thing.

Nice work.

You're in red, so you're pretty much on probation, so that if you don't shape up, you'll be banned. Basically, the admins are watching you closer than usual, just waiting to see if you shape up (in which case you stay) or mess up (and therefore get banned).

NightKev: The complaint people have with the title is that the yellow pipes seem to have the colors backwards, if you don't know. The screen itself looks fine, just the colors.

The gradient on the light blue one is EXTREMELY hard to see... Of course, that may be intentional.

Other than the pink one, I rather like them. Not going to replace Night for me, but they do look pretty nice.

I don't think any amount of complaining is going to get it for you, sorry. You should probably give up now while you're still ahead. Unless, of course, you want to tempt being banned in favor of HOPING to get a red name instead of a grey one.

Okay, this post is by a banned member, but I think (may be wrong) that there's still some possible discussion in it...

I happen to personally like Chick-Fil-A as far as fast food goes. They have good chicken nuggets and sandwiches, which I've been eating up at school for the better part of the last school year.

As far as other restaurants go, I have a taste for Red Lobster. Their stuffed flounder happens to be VERY good, and the shrimp pasta is very rich. I don't eat there too regularly, but I enjoy whenever I do.

Otherwise, McDonald's, Burger King, and Taco Bell still have things that appeal to me, even if they aren't that great.

I think they'd probably only wind up doing that for the bigger name ones, if they do it at all. You're not too likely to see, for instance, Wonder Project J, but you may see a few of the unreleased Akumajo Dracula/Castlevania games. I can see them releasing the original Mother, also, but that's questionable considering their constant abuse of that series.

There's no shame in that. It's pretty fun, even if you're alone... Better with 4 players, though. I'm not much for 1-on-1 duels, even though it tends to be how I play against the computers...
