Umm... Halo 2 PC having a level creator isn't the best thing in creation. Halo:CE had one, in fact, and that didn't require Vista.

I never really gave a chance to Halo 2 for the X box... Played it a bit, but not too much.

I personally prefer the SNES version of the game; to me, it's not important which was more groundbreaking for the time, but what's more fun now. And I rather enjoy the SNES one better, last I checked.

Although, on the plus side, the original's graphics are nice and simple to mess with. Still doesn't make much of a difference, though.

Heh... Awesome. Although I'm not quite sure how Giant Banana became landmine... But oh well. Still hilarious.

Because obviously there are more than 2 people in the world who can play SDW on a real console, and lots of them would be able to (or willing to) do a speedrun of it. (Just a note: It is impossible to have a NON-tool-assisted speedrun on something that you can't play on a real console.)

Haven't watched it yet, but had to put in my 2 cents.

I don't think the question is "why would anyone want to become a doctor or an engineer" as much as it is "Who in their right mind would want to be a guy pumping gas, or a guy working at a grocery store?" A lot of people don't care too much about pay; they choose their work based on if it suits them.

As for survival of the fittest... ehh... it's supposed to be that the most fit (in whatever way) would tend to pass their genes on, but it seems that a lot of stupid people have a lot of kids (such as all of the BRILLIANT ones who have kids before the end of high school... or worse, middle school (6th-8th grades).)

Someone actually had an explosive at one of the schools in my city... Someone else accidentally left an AK-47 in their car when they went to school. Needless to say, the guy with the AK (properly licensed, mind you) with no criminal intent was billed as being more dangerous than the one with the bomb. Yeah...

I _love_ the shadow under Mario in that last picture. And how he managed to mess the shadow up THAT much on one copy of Mario but not the other.

The major thing about the laws dealing with denying the holocaust over there is that it HAPPENED there. You won't see people in Hiroshima/Nagasaki saying "No, we never got nuked". It's a bit more engrained on the cultures there; to say that it never happened is rather harsh.

Unfortunately enough, there isn't really anything that can relate to it in the US... I can see how it would be EXTREMELY inflammatory, though.

The problem isn't what would happen if someone signed it... the problem is that his wife DIDN'T. Therefore, it was still kidnapping/assault.

And... I found that contract disturbing to no end. Just had to say that.

Captain Planet, if anything, should be HAPPY if the earth gets destroyed. He wouldn't have to worry about people polluting it anymore, at least!

(Amusing site.)

Yes, it is worthwhile pondering things like that. If nothing else, it's an amusing and harmless way to spend free time. If something else, it helps sometimes to think about things that you can't really know in order to try to get your mind to work in ways it couldn't before, which is reward enough in itself.
