It does work pretty well for cleaning out fingernails... But no, I definitely don't chew on my writing utensils, nor what comes from my writing utensils.

I do vaguely remember chewing on pencils several years ago, though... But that was back in elementary school. Seeing how I'm in college now... yeah. Time has passed.

And then you wind up with a > instead of the =, and THE WHOLE BOARD DIES. We're DOOMED. DOOMED, I tells ya.

Or not. Just let the non-posters stay, unless it seriously takes up THAT much space... And I don't think any of us non-admins can seriously say for that one.

There's a slight difference between what's happened so far, and an armed conflict with those two world powers. Besides... it takes two to have a war. Does Russia/China want to go to war?

Besides... typically other measures are taken before armed conflict.

Sometimes what's left to the imagination is far more vivid than what's shown. When you actually have real people, you can pretty much see all of it... anime tends to be at least somewhat stylized, allowing you to look at things from your own viewpoint, which would theoretically allow it to be more intense.

Of course, there's also the fact that the stylization makes it more unique. It's not like real women vary in between each other as much as the difference is between a real woman and an anime one. Of course, there's also the fact that anime is obviously not the same as reality; often enough, things become more interesting because they're DIFFERENT.

...Replace all gender references with the opposite, if you wish, so I don't seem bigoted.

"Super Metroid (JU).smc". Google it.

The hack seems interesting, from what I've played... Only got a bit into Brinstar, but then got murdered by a Sidehopper and took a break. It's a bit odd to be able to leave the Spore Spawn battle, though...

Actually, in addition to screenshots of the NES one that you changed it from, screenshots from the arcade version that you're trying to emulate would be helpful, too.

Never actually played the NES one... The Genesis one was pretty fun, though.

I think at that point, it would cease to be spilling water on your keyboard, and become spilling water on your COMPUTER. Slightly more dangerous.

Well... Hope the new keyboard search works out. I haven't pulled that stunt, but I could see it happening to me.

Nobody else will give it up freely.

And they will? I rather doubt providing nuclear materials to known terrorist groups is going to help in the case to have the world let them keep their programs.

I think you either need to have the right personality or the right amount of sleep to enjoy it... since I did. Up until the point where it glitched and I couldn't continue any farther.

Actually, just the combination of a wild Croconaw (level THREE?) and a wild Ho-oh at level 10 seems to hint that you used that randomizer feature from Goldmap or something. If you're going to make the evolutions of starters catchable, make sure their level at least makes a slight bit of sense.

I'm pretty sure at least some data from a few 64DD games has been dumped... Since that F-Zero X editor guy seemed to have a bit of the track data from the 64DD version of it.

It may just be the dumps tend not to circulate much, due to the lack of an emulator that supports them? I don't remember hearing of any N64 emulator that would support DD games...

Okay, let's consider how long it took to go from emulating the Genesis by itself to emulating the Sega CD... Now apply it to the N64. And, adding to that, the Sega CD actually did stuff... the DD was never very popular, even in Japan.

Moreover, it's far more useful to create a track editor that doesn't rely on such... risky emulation. Especially since N64 emulation in general is FAR from perfect.

I just have to say, that was REALLY clever... But that's partially because I didn't expect it, since it wasn't in the original game. Still... Nice.

Of course, the Torizo wasn't all that difficult... the Sidehoppers in Brinstar actually seemed harder. But that may be just me.

EDIT: Umm... "Making you hit the acid"? I'm not so sure if you did it quite the right way.

Actually, looking at that... What's with the 128 unused data in the users table?

And just because it'd be quite a typo wouldn't mean it wouldn't happen. Of course, it could always wind up being a Freudian slip of some kind...

This is probably a bit late to say it, but... wouldn't it have been better to, upon spilling water on the keyboard, unplugged it and let it dry off before using it? May have helped with some of the... breakage.

Of course, you may still want to take it apart and let it dry a bit, if there's still any water in it, which there may be. Can't guarantee it'll help anything, but... shouldn't hurt, if you're careful.

EDIT: About reading the gibberish... Would probably make you good at reading drunk-talk.

It wasn't really that bad once you realized that you shouldn't run into the room and dive straight into the acid. The main issue is just that you don't have anything like that in the regular game.

...The metal door under Spore Spawn's room seems a bit finicky. I went through it after defeating Spore Spawn so it wasn't metal, tried to open it, and failed, but then went down the corridor and came back and it opened fine. I'm not sure if it's reproducible, but it seems like a bit of a bug to me.

Wow... that system in Turkmenistan sounds REALLY harsh...

At any rate, the article is complaining about a loss of privacy in places in which "privacy" doesn't exist, anyway. It's irritating, yes, but expected.

First off, that's a month-long bump.

Second, that mod was fake. It was soldering an unused lead into a ground, if I'm not mistaken.

A link that only works if you're registered on that forum, no less.

As for why people use that tool, I'd think it's because it (hopefully) carries the palettes with it, and you don't have to track down the graphics yourself. Most people will gladly take the easy way out in any given situation

Yes... it's brilliant! Becoming a convicted felon is obviously the BEST way to get out of the draft. Nothing like getting rid of most of your freedoms.

Rom Manic: The main issue with a draft would be that in order to GET that pension, sharpened senses, discipline, etc. you have to be alive afterwards. If you aren't, it kinda defeats any gains you may get.
