I had similar happen to me when the Commons was first introduced on 1.B (or was it when attatchments were added?). I forget exactly what happened, but I did something like leave it open in another window, and for some reason it just kept refreshing. Nobody could figure out why exactly the download counter was shooting up so fast.  |

| FYI, lololol is already the name of a very popular web browser, and Nintendo is making a New Super Mario Bros.
Anyway, the screenshots... they look nice, a good demonstration of what you can do without ExGFX. I'd at least make the "New" on the title screen look like it's painted diagonally over the S in Super or some similar effect. The simple small font clashes with the big colourful logo. The overworld looks really nice. Is that first one the Yoshi's Island submap? (Guessing from the mountain with water on it.) If so, good job on making it look spacious. The levels all look fine, but I fear having that many bullet bills, timed jumps and layer 3 water might be too hard for level 1. A LOT of hacks, especially of SMW, start off ridiculously hard and end slightly harder. It's important to keep in mind that you'll usually be far better at your own game than anyone else, because you know it inside-out. Keep it up!  BTW, BMF released a patch to fix the red Piranha Plant stems a while ago. |

| Hm, that looks really nice. And I like the pipe, level and bridge at the top of the hills. Might need some touching up, but it's quite creative.
Does the Bowser head do anything? |

| Something I tried to do a while ago, but never got very far with, was to hack the directional coin sprite. The idea being if a certain flag in RAM is set, instead of creating coins, it creates whatever block is specified. The flag itself could be a direction override, forcing it to always move a specific direction. | After anywhere from 10 minutes to 2 hours of use, lololol suddenly just stops making any attempt to connect to anything. Just started doing this today, it was happening before but then stopped. It just refuses to do anything until I close it. I know it's not even trying to make a connection because it shows its own 404 page instead of Proxomitron's like it would if the site was really down. Very annoying! Just reinstalled everything like 2 days ago! |

Yeah, it's probably an extension, but I dunno how to go about finding which one. It can go days at a time without doing this, so just disabling them one at a time would be quite a pain. |

I know in Zelda, the water is just a specific type of polygon; if you get outside of the level boundaries, you can see it extending out under the ground and such. Mario 64 already has to calculate which polygon Mario is standing on, so it knows if he's on the ground, in quicksand etc. I think for water, it's just "if Mario passes through from top, go into swimming mode, if he passes through from bottom, go into normal mode" or some such.

Also, if you raise the water level in Wet-Dry World, go into the second part (with the houses), lower the level there, then use Gameshark cheats to go back into the tunnel, you can walk into the side of the main area's water there, and it seems to work just fine.

You know, if you just disable/unplug controller 2, both players are controlled by #1, which would make that pretty easy. |

Hm, now that's *really* weird. It did it again, but it never actually showed the error page, just waited until I pressed Stop. But as long as it was trying to load a page (even when an extension made a request) I could hear a squeaking sound that seemed to be coming from my network card. |
