Well there's the problem, I'm not in college quite yet. At least now I'll have some incentive to pay attention in math class. But yes, that's what I mean.

I don't think you get what I'm saying about documentation. If you were to document all the inner workings of your editor, I imagine it would only cover how to actually edit the game. Take my camera example again. If I look at your editor and see that it does what I want to figure out how to do, if I have the source code, I can just check out how it's done. If I just have documentation of how to edit the game, of course it's not going to include how to move cameras in a 3D environment. You could document how to do this as well, but that's only one thing... anything your program does, even little tiny things, people may want to check out the source to see how they work. If you were to actually document it all... you'd basically have rewritten the source code.

Cheating is not really related to what I was trying to do. I was just experimenting to see what I could do with the GBA GS hardware on a DS. Apparently, booting it in GBA mode without the Nintendo logo being messed is one thing.

I heard about this, even though I'm not into PSP. Apparently it overflows a buffer in a save file in (surprise!) a Grand Theft Auto game. What I liked was how the fanboys were calling it an amazing, intuitive hack that could only be thought up by a genius.

Sure, I could use a spare DS, even if the hinge is broken.

Also, I got these Mad Catz SNES controllers. Don't recall the name but they were probably the best controller I've ever used. They were just the right size (Nintendo's were a bit small), had L+R on the top and front (great for fighters), and had 2 levels of slowmo and rapid fire when held or always for A, B, X, Y, L and R individually.

I also had this box you plug controllers into, and plug into the console, that did more cool things. It also had rapid fire for any button, slowmo, auto-hold, and macros. You could program each button to activate a button combo. Even had some built in for popular fighters.

So yeah, I had the 1337est SNES control setup ever.

Why would you want to view the board on a cell phone? A PSP or DS, maybe, but a phone...

I'd suggest just turning layouts off and selecting one of the small schemes like Compact Vertical.

Huh, I could have sworn I said I couldn't find any way to configure it. I didn't mean to sound overly negative. I want to have it looking like those images (and BTW, the links are broken), but how? I'm not saying it sucks because I don't know how to set it up; I'm saying my experience with it sucks because I don't know how to set it up. (Hell, I'd still use it now if it used its own file browser and the desktop icons worked right. )

I got Winamp's head back BTW. Just had to muck with the INI a bit.

I think if you can't wait in line for a few minutes without coming here, you may need help. And unless you're away for quite a while, it's not really necessary to even come when you're on vacation, so long as everyone knows you're away.

I guess it could be something to do if you're bored and only have a cell phone, but just about every Internet-enabled phone has games on it.

You can probably get an older or limited version of Photoshop fairly cheap. My school has Photoshop 5 Limited Edition on all the computers... it sucks but I imagine later ones are better. (8 RAWKS.) Point being it exists and is cheap enough for a school in Ontario to afford.

From what I hear, Super Circuit has 4 times the track space (256x256 instead of 128x128) as SMK, which is great because 128x128 is too damn small. Only thing is I don't know of any editor... Bouche was working on one a LOOOOONG time ago, that's about it.

Well how many hacks for Legendary Wings or Nobunaga's Ambition* do you see? Few if any. Mario? Tons. Number of hacks is directly proportional to popularity. So many kids (and even adults) played SMB and wished they could design their own levels for it. These people are finding out that they can. They don't care that their hack is the 4957845th, they care that they finally get to make levels for SMB. Hopefully they'll eventually move on to other games, or hey, maybe their SMB hacks will totally rock. Mario Seasons is an SMB hack too, after all.
