Yes, you can easily make a code that throws an invalid instruction/memory access into a common routine and wait. I made one once, don't think I have it anymore though. But there's really nothing special about this "menu", it's just an error report... ![]() |

| Screenshot comment time.
1) AAAAHHHH MY EYES THE RED BURRRRNNNSS 2) I hope you didn't just add a long stretch of this. A small bit might be alright combined with some other stuff, but 10 minutes of just bouncing off Dry Bones would be boring. 3) New background is much better but much too bright compared to the FG. It's very difficult to tell them apart. 4 (big BG image): Alright aside from the water issue. Good job making it tile well. The coins make it feel like it's another part of the level, which is kinda neat. In fact if some of those pipes were enterable, it could be. 5) Not bad. 6 (Mario standing on a cloud): Alright. |

| Could you post the formula? Maybe someone can spot a flaw in it.
Also, I have a formula that determines whether a line intersects a triangle in 3D space if that would help. I know that's probably basic stuff to anyone who does a lot of 3D work, but it's a pain to someone who isn't experienced in the field and didn't pay attention in Trigonometry class. ![]() |

| Windows sometimes has trouble with wireless networking, but out of the box it usually works alright. You should see an icon in the system tray indicating your network status. If it's disconnected, double-click it to open a list of available networks, then click Refresh List to actually view the list. Find the one you want and double-click it.
Now here's the fun part. If you set it to automatically connect to any given network, and you want to connect to another while this one is still in range, you pretty much have to delete all reference to it by clicking Change Order Of Preferred Networks. Basically to get it reliably connecting to your network when available, you have to fiddle with this a LOT. If it's asking for a network key when none is needed or it's already stored, you need to reboot and/or remove all the networks this way. When you have a nice clean list with nothing starred, find yours, click Connect, and with any luck it'll do that correctly from then on.
Now if the icon shows what kinda looks like two computers and a bell slowly moving back and forth, then it's busy setting up a connection. If it keeps doing that or is always in this state then your signal is probably too weak. Also, make sure the router is set up correctly. As for security, WPA is best but I don't know if Wii can do it. DS can't. WEP is ridiculously easy to crack. |

| Few games actually use MP3s. As for conversion, .cue files generally tell a CD burning program how to burn another file (in this case the .bin file) to a disc. You could use one of many programs to make a virtual CD-ROM drive, then "burn" the file to it which I imagine would create an ISO. Though if you want to save space, consider actually burning them to a CD. | |||

Just thought I should mention this.
To everyone who makes and/or uses an installer that: 1) Drops shortcuts everywhere (Start menu, Quick Launch, desktop) without asking (or worse, asks where to put them without a "DON'T PUT THEM ANYWHERE YOU SAFFDSFAS " option).
2) Changes existing file associations without asking. 3) Expires for no good reason (ahem, AVG). and/or 4) Lacks options to NOT install the 32 graphical themes, 17 languages, sound effects, and tutorials that I'm never goin to use. |

Plugged in, but not turned on. I did have an ISA card (not screwed in) literally fall out of its socket while the computer was on once, but nothing bad happened. It was the bottom socket so it just fell to the bottom of the case. Of course I'm still not going to do that intentionally, but it was interesting to see.(edited by HyperHacker on 11-25-06 08:02 PM) |

| Everybody now seems to be obsessed with the idea "OMG don't use <table>, use CSS" when it comes to web design. So, a simple question. Here is an effect achieved using tables:
As you can see it has two boxes next to eachother. Now, how am I to recreate that in CSS without resorting to absolute positioning? It seems I have two options, using <span> : or using <div> : <span> fails because something just completely breaks, and because it appears to be impossible to actually define their width and height, IE they always just take the size of their contents. <div> fails because it's a block element, which means each one is followed by a line break. A quick Google search finds this page, which explains how to make an element in CSS act like a table cell or row or whatever. OK, but why make up my own table elements? I'm still using tables if I do it that way, may as well use <table>. Also, I note that the table borders look nice while CSS "ridge" borders are fat and ugly.
