A little 3-foot-5-inch dot? How big is this TV?

My old monitor (newer than this one, but aquired earlier) always randomly got little flickering lines in the picture. Never figured out why. Also, my grandpa has a TV that's somehow become messed up such that it only works right if there is a magnet on it.

Loose monitor cables produce fun results too.

They're pretty useful for those who are developing ASM hacks for the game. Also, seeing what's what in memory is often helpful for finding things in ROM.

And yet, I still fail to see where that explains the actual change involved. Had either of you correctly said "more specific", the sentence would have made actual sense. I can read posts fine. Know what Nintendo's done to several different sites I've seen with practically every ROM of every Nintendo game ever made?

Sent a letter saying "shut down the site or we'll sue your ass".

Unless you're dumb enough to persist after being told by the corporate lawyers to stop, I don't think you're going to see cops busting down your door because you downloaded some ROMs.

Also, when people get all scared because a rent-a-cop at the local mall sees them pull out a flashcart... pfft. Most cops don't even know what the term ROM means other than 'read-only memory'.

Sure, I'm using it right now. Just use @import. The other method tends to cause slowdown if the server it's hosted on is slow.

Does your pocket PC have some way of pinging someone? Have it ping a server like Google during the game and see if packets are being dropped when the game disconnects; that might help identify the source of the problem.

Also, I've heard a few times (even in this thread) that their servers are having problems, probably because of the sudden surge of people getting the game for Christmas.

And anyways, I'm just going to make a blanket statement and say that you're not very good at the game if you're unable to pay attention to two things at once. Again, you don't have to focus on the second screen the entire time

I do peek at the map fairly often, and it does help to dodge green shells and bananas. However it's not much use knowing where an incoming shell is when it heads straight for you anyway. And spiny shells don't even show up on it half the time.

On the subject of the blue shell, if they're a ways back from you, the decision is obvious; take the blue shell and don't bother with a risky maneuver.

This does nothing to address the fact that there's too damn many of them.

As for you being good with everyone but Toad, I horridly doubt that, but until you get that wireless router I can't prove it to you. But just take my word on this.

I can totally smoke the AI with every other character I have, and can barely stay on the track with Toad. I can't see how that doesn't indicate some problem with him.

You are the ONLY one who thinks there are too many pits, and you are the ONLY one who's having that much trouble with the mic, and yeah team battle sucks, WE KNOW.

My brother and a friend of his have both been playing the game even more than I have, and agree with me on nearly all of these points. They each have their own DS, so it's not that my mic is broken.

I've actually found the physics problems to vary between levels, and not in ways that make sense. Some levels are fine, others are just wrong... I can handle fine on solid ice, but slide around like crazy on a beach.
