ANyway I just noticed your background is 400KB. TRhayt mist be hell for dialup users (as if dualip[ isn't hell alreadyu ). Just taking the first 150 pixels or so and mirroring it horizontally would probabkly work just as well while being much smaller.

(typos: bah I'm not couinting that)

BUt think about the poor peope who have DSL or something but have BiutTrrent runing in the background sucking up all their badnwidth.

I like to just design multiple layouts that the user can choose from (because it's fun ); some dialup-friendly, others tat woyld take ages at that speed.

In most media players you could do it by clicking at one point on the progress bar when it reaches another point. I don't know if that helps you but it is quite possible. Winamp can do it, and has a nice remote control interface you could use to do it automatically from another program.

Messed up web pages: Happened often in WinME.
Black start menu: See first item.
Glitched fonts: Happens when there's very little VRAM left. (Shortly followed by a BSOD in most cases. )

The blank pages thing is less common after restarting Proxomitron which for some reason was eating up all my CPU power, but it still happens. At one point it was happening literally every time I loaded a page for about half an hour. (Hitting F5 would show the page, but it was still annoying.)

There's also the "taskbar's context menu appears above system tray icons' menus 75% of the time" bug, which is really annoying, but I suspect it's an actual bug and not just my specific install acting up.
