I imagine they'd only use one large polygon (maybe 2 or 3 given the different types of ground) for the entire level there, since it's just a big square.

Holy shit. I thought I was the only person who had done that. I ended up breaking about 7 of my SNES games, thinking that they would play on my N64.

I was a very stupid little kid back then.

I at least stopped after the N64 got really hot and shut down and the game didn't work any more.

Also, I didn't receive any such email. Or if I did, it was in my spam box and I deleted it without noticing.

It's funny 'cuz it's true. I ripped a CD of mine to FLAC and it came out as 300MB.

You probably should have mentioned to this person that they should be wary of what they select. If you read the EULA it mentions popups and other junk if you install the EMusic crap, and I don't know what "Active Security Monitor" is but it certainly sounds fishy. (I never thought I'd say this, but anyone know a better player than Winamp? I'm worried it's slowly turning into a spyware-infested pile of dung. )

Yeah, I might just go back to that. I'd rather have something that can work on Linux too though (without faking a Windows environment). Command lines are good, but not for media players... just makes more sense to me to have a GUI for those.
