Is there a hack for Final Fantasy I that fixes the bugs, and maybe makes minor improvements (eg allowing you to buy more than one item at a time at shops) without making signifigant changes to graphics or gameplay? I don't want fancy new graphics or anything, just less bugs and design flaws.

I never paid much attention in math class, and now whenever I do 3D work I wish I had. I'm good at math in general but since I didn't really learn the formulas I always have trouble with trigonometry and it takes me a little while to remember how to do some things like algebra. I guess I'll just have to see if I can take a similar class in college.

Ooh, here's another one. When you do collision detection against a group of polygons in 3D, make sure you're adding the coordinates of the group as a whole to those of the polygons. (Doesn't help when one of the groups is at (0,0,0), making the routine appear to work some times but not others.)

When you get the OS disc, back up all your files and such, wipe the hard disk and then reinstall. Mine does similar after a while (at the moment it refuses to remember the screen resolution or certain colour settings in Hex Workshop).

BTW, they probably made a custom install disc with the product key already set.

You should consider moving the DLL to \Windows or \Windows\System32 and just writing "mzme.dll". Giving an absolute path means it won't work on other computers.
