Nice. Somehow the battery in the Silver cart was completely dead, while the one in an old broken Yellow cart still worked. Unfortunately I ripped the connector off prying the old battery out. I might try to fix it later, but I only really intended to use that cart for experimentation anyway.

BTW, the Yellow cart has those same 4 pads. Maybe they're just for testing the circuit?

Integrated graphics cards in a gaming system is like paddles on a yacht. I doubt you'll get a good gaming system for under $1000 that will last more than 5 years before needing to be almost completely replaced.

I set up a keyboard hook to detect when keys are pressed, but Windows isn't reporting the exact status of the keys. If I press Shift+Numpad 0, it reports it as being Insert that's pressed. Can I make it still report Numpad 0 somehow?

I have already attempted to use this, and i keep running into all kinds of errors.

Oh well, at least i can play some better hacks now.... hacks will be more fun to.

A point and click interface is much harder to make than a command line one.

Under Options->Preferences->Display->Character Filter, you can make a table of sorts. It doesn't support .tbl files though.
