I bet there's one or two nutjobs out there who'd complain if you removed ET or Superman 64 from the "list of good games".

I'm not going to put the code in my header because that doesn't show up with layouts on auto-update. IE users may not see anything because IE sucks.

Yeah, at least there actually are red fluids in your body.

I think it's possible to affect the colour slightly by eating a lot of foods that colour though.

Hm, it is too, but that wasn't the problem. (x*y == y*x, so it doesn't matter much. ) Just a design error:

2) realloc two buffers: Shape (array of SHAPE3D) and Point (array of POINT3D).
4) For each new element in Shape, set Shape[x].Point to various elements of Point.

Notice the problem here? This is in a loop, so after taking the address of an element of Point, Point then gets realloc()'d, and that address is no longer valid. I just had it take the array element number instead, and set the pointers at the end of the loop.

1) Yes.

That should help, but you won't be able to use absolute paths anymore. Normally if you don't specify any path ("." means the current path), it should use the path the program is in.

Ice Man: if you send me a ips with the hdma kit installed, i may be able to play around and fix your issue. when does the original game use the layer priority? i thought i handled this in custom sprites the same way the game did regular sprites, but maybe i'm wrong

IIRC, some of the original sprites had to be patched for the same problem with the HDMA kit.

$94 and $96 should be Mario's pixel-specific X and Y position in 16 bits. Were you maybe checking the high byte?

Actually there is still a problem, and other OpenGL programs such as Project64 have it too. Whenever I call glReadPixels(), plus a few times when OpenGL is initializing, every translucent window on the same monitor as my GL window flashes. It's a pain since I like to keep my taskbar translucent and I use this function every time the mouse is moved to see if a polygon is being pointed to.

And if anyone knows a way to make XP not BSOD when I apply translucency or colour-key transparency to an OpenGL window, that'd be a nice bonus.

Alright, I changed the quote/code titlebar style. It makes sense since they're like child windows of the post box, and gets rid of that no-close-button/cutoff problem. You might have to view the individual images and hit Ctrl+F5 to re-download the new versions.

BTW, is there a way to do a gradient of transparency in Photoshop? Like I can use the gradient tool to fade to a specific colour, but can I use it to fade to nothing (transparent)?

I still don't get why prepending is necessary though.
