Maybe i'm being too much of a computer scientist here, but it seems to me you have 2 Bool variables, one for if you could find yourself attracted to the same sex, one for the opposite sex. With 2 true/false values there are 4 possible outcomes. Of course it is possible for people to change their stance over time, but at any given moment all people would fit into one of the 4 catagories. I dont see how its possible not to fit into one of the 4 catagories. Someone give me an example of someone who does'nt. Its like asking someone what their sex is, either male, female, hermaphodite or eunoch, and then getting the reply "mammite-verion-tublu". The machine does not compute!

The happy medium is probably some combination of a physically confined space - that is, a jail in some sense - but with less of a brute force approach to rehabilitation. As it is, the system seems to be one of "go to jail, come out in x years, that's it." A significant psychotherapeutic component needs to be thrown in the middle, somewhere in beween "go to jail" and "get out of jail." Heh heh.

I need to clarify that I in no way advocate any sort of bigotry, and that I am all for a person's freedom to express his or her own sexuality, regardless of the nature or orientation of it. But, labels like hetero-, homo-, and bisexual serve a legitimate purpose, and they are quite useful. People shouldn't think that, since they are being labeled as one of those three things, it means the person who's done the labeling is somehow trying to supress one's right to free practice of any sort of sexuality that appeals to one. I'm not spouting any sort of anti-gay nonsense, and it's irresponsible to make it out as if I am.
