| Oh, it absolutely is. But steroids is a "taboo" word in WWE. You just don't talk about them, and if you're asked about them you always take the high road and either lie about not having taken them or dodge the question.
They've always had a loose drug policy though... I mean, if it's apparent someone's in trouble, Vince and the company have been known to step in and offer rehab. If you refuse that offer, however, you're done. It's just a stricter policy now and an all-encompassing one too. |

| Zero Hour for MS looks to have gone off without a hitch. With 360 seconds to go before launch (even though it was Pacific time, MS decided to let the attendees get their systems at 9 PM/midnight Eastern), three Best Buy trucks stocked with around 3,000 systems were given a police escort to the makeshift store. Now THAT'S making an entrance.
(And if you want to know where all the extra units went, there you go.) During the school day today I'll likely do my quick overview and see who sold out of stock, if anyone. (PSP launch didn't go so well here.) |

Went to the Future Shop downtown today and they had 4 units out. I don't know if that meant they had sold all but 4 by the time I got there (1 PM) or if pre-orders were stashed away and maybe they had 10 on the shelves or something. But hey, they still had some and plenty of games too.

GameSpot has a report on how launch day went, and it seems that while it might have been a success for MS financially... it didn't go so well. From the article: On Tuesday, GameSpot staffers witnessed even more chaotic scenes at the local Target in Colma, on the peninsula south of San Francisco. There, a lone security guard spent most of the night shooing an increasingly unruly crowd away from the parking lot. The situation nearly spun out of control around 7 a.m., when the guard left his post for five minutes, prompting a mass influx of would-be customers eager to receive vouchers good for a 360. When he returned, the security guard's attempts to get the 100-plus-person crowd to form a line were rebuffed until the arrival of police and a California National Guardsman around 8 a.m. A trio of veteran GameSpotters witnessed the Guardsman quickly take control of the situation and move to the head of the line--where he promptly turned around and asked for a 360 voucher himself. The Guardsman then promptly fled the scene, voucher in hand, leaving police, Target employees, and a visibly agitated crowd to fend for themselves.
