I think Romero lost that privledge after Daikatana came out, to be perfectly honest. |

I'd say it would depend on reach. Personally, I'd take the kicker over the puncher because if he's skilled enough, he can connect low or high. |

And as for the fight, assuming they're good, I go for the kicker both due to reach and the fact that your head, a rather vulnerable place, is more hittable to a puncher than a kicker.

You mean kicker than a puncher? 
The puncher would always have a puncher's chance though. You get that one lucky shot in to stun/KO the kicker and it's over. But that occurs rarely in MMA.

Even if that's his only flaw, I think that Molyneux does have a proven track record; so does Romero but his blip is a HUGE blip. Molyneux has some small blips but he had success both with Bullfrog and on his own. Taking a good game and hyping it up to be the best ever is still better than taking a crap game and doing the same. |
