And then you ended up looking up words that were in the definition that you didn't know and in the end you were totally lost.

Then again, I kinda understood Calvin and Hobbes when I was young. Which is an accomplishment to be honest.

I occasionally watch "old" cartoons and see some great hidden references, but not all of them are dirty. Some of them are just topical, or things that children and adults will both laugh at for totally different reasons.

I should do what?

*thinks*

...OH. That. Yes, you've told me that for several years now. But I have no success on that front or on ANY other related fronts.

Yay me?

It's a shame that Julien had to take the fall but I'd rather prefer him leaving than making a trade that could hurt the team. Then again, a trade could still be coming soon...

Gainey thought about this one for a long time and given how he wants us to use our speed (which = attack more), I have no problem with the change. Carbo as coach next season might be odd but he's probably ready to coach after several years as an assistant. I'm more worried about this year though.

Thankfully, I saw offense tonight... TONS of it. Gainey's first game ends up as a well-earned 6-2 win over San Jose. We really needed a game like that...

Yet if the remakes are handled with care and are fun to play, then I'd hardly call it "milking" the franchise. If the remakes turn out to be average games, then you'd have a point.

Yeah, but Ashley ended up being a good influence on you. She just gave you some of her crack Guardian Legend and there you go.

It wasn't even the worst loss in the league tonight.

Vancouver destroyed the Isles 8-1 and Buffalo KILLED Los Angeles 10-1.

We need to do well over our next stretch. We play a rare Monday game against Dallas at home and then it's time for a 6-game road trip... Calgary, Vancouver, Carolina, Philadelphia, Ottawa, Toronto.

It's a popular system. It's #2 to the DS at the moment but it's not like the DS has 90% of the market share or anything.

2006 is very important for Sony though, because if the PSP can't get anything going then they're likely going to be declared the losers of the war.

Mine's still in my garage and still works as far as I know.

Then again, it's not like I could make much money off it... I know there was a pawn shop around here that bought NES units/games for $5/$1 each. No thank you.

Mine has a dead pixel but it's more of a stuck (neon green) pixel in the upper-left corner of the top screen.

However, given that I ordered the DS from America and that it's not too noticeable...

You said it. For me, the party will start in March with Tetris and then continue from there.

It'll be a great year, even better than the last.

Ours is worse, trust me. You guys have the Thrashers in there which I'd prefer in the place of Carolina or Ottawa. Those are six REALLY good playoff-bound teams.

...Well, five plus Toronto.

I picked Seattle to win. As for the other games, don't ask.

I will say that Indy/Pittsburgh WAS a hell of an exciting game but I'm still trying to figure out how that interception call could be reversed, and how fast Vanderjagt can get out of Indy.

...Sprite Ice is probably the closest you'd get to mint soda, and it MIGHT still be sold here in Canada. Not sure.

It tastes like sweet toothpaste, and isn't bad in small quantities. Probably best to use in a mixed drink.
