I'd go with Chrono Trigger. You need to start off with a strong, unique game - and it's easily accessible to boot.

I think the problem is that, as I'm led to believe, the guy included music with the package which would have bit him in the arse sooner or later. SM doesn't exactly come with sim packs included. |
