I just figured out that for the first time in a LONG time, I won't mind whoever wins the World Series.

- The A's are hard to hate and my dad was a fan back in the glory days. Plus they wear GREEN. - The Tigers beat the Yankees. Enough said. - The Mets really should stick it to the Yankee fans because this might be their only chance for a while. Never know. - The Cards have been in the playoffs 6 out of the past 7 seasons and the one time they made it all the way, they got stopped dead in their tracks by the Sox. They're due. So... may the best team win.  Seriously, I can't hate any of these four. (restricted) |

I don't know how! I'm guessing I ran into some exploit considering I rarely (if at all) use IE, but still... |
The good thing is that it seems a few of those entries were dormant. (The spyware's gone and can't do any harm but there's just one or two leftover files.) Some stuff was likely active though. 
Everything's good so far. Knock on wood.

Besides, if you have a flashcart then you probably want an actual NES emulator.

Currently, I think IE has more and the highest rating for a lololol security hole is better than "critical". But yes, at least many of them have been patched ASAP. Not like Microsoft where sometimes you need to wait a month for the patch. |

Not so much... Microsoft generally has a "release schedule" for patches. It's not uncommon for them to sit on a fix for two weeks after it's finished before releasing it with a bunch more.

Occasionally (like what happened a few weeks back) they'll rush it out upon completion if a new exploit has the potential to seriously harm a lot of users.
