$50? I'm guessing the GameCube itself doesn't equal $50... and I don't think I have a game I'd be willing to give up to get to that price. |

A possibility? Yes. But Rockstar/Take-Two never seemed interested in porting GTA over to the GameCube so I'd be highly surprised to see them do so for the Wii.

I could see them developing some stuff for the system but GTA... eh.

I don't think Nintendo necessarily ripped off Microsoft since they at least had a back library of games to call upon; Microsoft basically sells original games and classic arcade games, and Sony already had made plans to do the PS1 thing for the PSP. However, deciding to do the Genesis/TG-16 thing just like Nintendo... no. That looks like a total copycat move.

Kutaragi also hinted at paying for a demo of a game - maybe for $1 or so but that's still ludicrous. I know people make fun of Sony for their microtransactions but if they went through with that... heaven help us.

I heard the GT rumors/reports and if this is true... that absolutely disgusts me. Given how a "premium" version would only include 30 cars and TWO tracks (which is unacceptable for a racing game these days), it's probably a sure-fire way to turn people off the GT series.

I understand Sony's going to be losing money right out of the gate (as almost EVERYONE does when releasing a new system) but... they don't have to try make it back right away. And as far as the demo thing goes... Microsoft, your #1 competitor in the United States, makes game demos available for free. You can't get cheaper than that.

If a store takes reserves, probably low unless you live in an area where video game stores aren't that busy. If it doesn't take reserves, then it's quite possible but the earlier you show the better.
