| I'm never going to argue against Larsson and a few weeks ago I saw him score a BEAUTY for Barca when he came on as a sub. He's still got it and he always picks it up for the big competitions.
Angola vs. Iran is going to be a really weird game to watch and I'll probably do just that out of morbid curiosity. I know for sure that we have TWO TV stations showing the WC and odds are if two games are going on at the same time, they'll each show a different one. The US (and Mexico) are so high in the rankings because they whip all the CONCACAF teams and grab points like crazy. :\ On another note, Canada's playing the States in January and I expect Tromso, Lillestrom (so they bought Occean...) and Rosenborg (that sounds weird) to release the usual suspects for that game if they're called upon. *cough* Germany/England final... you're just asking for a riot right there. |

For all intents and purposes, MAME and MAME32 are the same although MAME32 is much easier to use because it has a GUI and other fun stuff. MAMEPlus just has extra features and I think it's updated a little more frequently than the official builds too.

If fuel prices went up, it would only be in the UK. :\ And even then they're saying there's still plenty of oil so that shouldn't be a concern.

Bumping the thread because the Japan launch took place this weekend... and it didn't go so well, as most people predicted. Granted, the hardcores stood in line to get a system or pre-ordered one, but for the most part... not good. Kotaku is reporting that some stores are already slashing prices to the point that if you sign up for an ISP contract, you can get a 360 for roughly $150 American.

...You know, even with shipping costs and taxes and all that, I think some people in America might be better off just importing their 360 at that price. XD I'm not surprised the launch was met with a lukewarm reaction in Japan but I'm surprised at the price-cutting. MS has some work to do. (restricted) |
