| Still, the winner gets in. :\ Same deal with conference tournaments in basketball; a team with only 12 wins all year could somehow shock everyone and advance to March Madness, although their seeding would likely be crap. That's part of why I like following the b-ball tournament... even if you've blown your chance to be selected as an at-large, there's still a chance for you to sneak in.
USC and Texas will be FUN if their ass-kickings this weekend are any indication. Ohio State/Notre Dame should be interesting as well. |
