We spoke to him today and he says he's completely stopped drinking. He was welcomed back to his old job a few months ago, and his co-workers speak highly of him. So it was just a bit of a bender. That style probably works better on the DS anyways because you can only push the graphics so far.

SSBB probably will have a bit of a graphical upgrade, but again, the Wii isn't going to be leaps above the Gamecube graphics-wise. Granted, the game might have more room for stuff thanks to it being on DVD now.

Nintendo made money off the system, therefore it did NOT fail. I think the term would be "not as successful as they hoped it would be".

To be honest, I think Nintendo will at the very least close the gap during this generation. They'll probably still be #3 but if you can increase your market share and profit at the same time, it's all good.
