| And that was NOT a classic OT by any means. Either team could have won it but that penalty hurt and Bonk not having his stick (due to him giving it to Souray since he originally lost it) didn't help on the kill.
Habs will bounce back next game. They'll be frustrated about tonight, but not heartbroken. |

First off... Revolution wouldn't have been a bad name. People liked it and it seemed ambitious and everything. People registered websites based on the name and everything. It seemed set in stone leading up to E3.

And now... the Nintendo Wii (or the Nintendo Oui in French). To be fair, I'm sure Nintendo expected a big backlash on this one and it's better to get it out into the open 2 weeks before E3 as opposed to dropping the bomb AT the Kodak Theater itself, where you'd be sure to see some slack-jawed faces. Let's face it... it's an odd name. I don't hate it because it's definitely unique. I don't love it either because Wii just sounds so... strange. But the console's supposed to be strange anyways. And I don't think that naming your console "Wii" is going to kill Nintendo. One analyst said that he hated the name, but that he also hated "Game Boy" and "Xbox" and look how those turned out. Wii shall see in two weeks. 
Oh, and for all the Wii little haters... here.

But who honestly wants to own a console called 'Wii'. I don't think I'll be buying Nintendo consoles anymore. At least until they give their consoles decent names.

Dolphin would have been a neat name but I didn't blink an eye when GameCube was announced. Remember the fit people threw over Dreamcast?
And the ONLY way they would have gotten Wii past the E3 audience (if they waited until then) would be if Miyamoto announced it. Nintendo fans ALWAYS applaud anything Miyamoto says.
