| I started hacking around... 4 or 5 years ago I guess, and I did a little of my own editing of Pokemon Gold... just to see what I could do, and a made a mini-hack based on my school and of course my friends were impressed...
Well middle school is long gone, I lost intrest in hacking, I've changed schools, and my friend happened to mention the game recently. I figured I'd go back and make a better one based off Ruby. Thats what I'm doing right now, and even though I've just gotten back into it, I'm catching on very quickly. I've got all graphical editing (tilemaps, tilesets, maps and their headers, etc.) down completely, and I'm currently trying to get into script editing, which access to the Pokemon Hacking forum would be greatly appreciated. I finding some things out for myself that I haven't found specifically online yet, and it would be great to be able to share it with the community and be able to help others out with their issues as well. So approval? Yes? I've attached an example of a title screen I did for my hack as an example of my work.

| The hack does sound pretty interesting. I always like hacks that are a little more deep than "ur Ash's brother and ur tryin to beat ur bro".
It'll add some other obstacles too, since the fire pokemon you start out with will pretty much drown with the surplus of water pokemon. And DON'T GIVE UP, and think its a bad idea eventually like so many other hacks. I'd like a decent hack to play once in a while... you know... in Geometry... it gets dull after a while... |
