This is funny, because whenever people talk without embellishment about "a bomb," I imagine one of those cartoon bombs, like a big ball with a fuse coming out of it and maybe a skull and crossbones. Then I imagine someone trying to sneak one of those around in public, but getting caught because the cops had an eye on him.

In summary, fuck the po-leece

I have a suggestion. "Best visual artist." There was just best writer and most creative (all around), and there were some good artists I would have voted for who didn't fall into either of those.

I think "most rational" would be a good one too, because that's a positive one that doesn't massively overlap with any others (there would probably be a bit of overlap with best pacifist, but there's a definite distinction."

Also: "wildest strawberries"

The problem with Eternal Darkness was that after you'd seen them all, the sanity effects just became gimmicky. They never messed with you aside from giving you a false scenario when you entered a room, so they never actually interfered with gameplay. And you couldn't even keep your sanity low to make things interesting, since you started losing health. And then eventually you built the green healing spell and sanity became trivial.

It was a cool game, but it didn't stay scary for long and it had nearly no replay value.

What exactly causes the number to get incremented? Did it actually get deleted seven or eight times, or do you also close it after a number of pages?

This thread kinda reminds me of the old hidden ones (such as my very own Forum 42, or YD's Forum 69), just because it's huge and unwieldy and the conversation just kind of drifts around. Except those were radder because it was like a secret clubhouse that only a few people knew about.

Both of those threads got moved to Lost Threads and can be found there in the archive, I believe...

42. oh man I was a noob but still somehow a mod

can't find the thread from forum 69, but I did find this: look what I popularized!!!

wtf

I agree with everything hyperhacker just said

Something is clearly wrong here

oh, one note:

Stats are realistic. You generally max out at about 400-500 HP and up to 99 MP (FP), and enemy attacks (assuming you aren't WAY stronger than them) do anywhere between 30 and 250 damage. The thing I hated most about Paper Mario was its stat system, where you only get up to 50 HP and each attack does between 2 and 35.

These are actually fairly similar scales... 30-250 of 500 is 6% - 50%, and 2-35 of 50 is 4% - 70%

so this point doesn't really make sense

So, I suggest a tutorial. Mainly because even non-average HTML-wrangling mega-Joes can find the way this place uses HTML layouts to be... baffling.

And I only know link rel. Could someone conveniently give me an example of how @import is used?
