Dur? There's a lot more levels we can go down before we get anywhere close to molecules. First off, no, polygons are not almost perfected. The most recent developments have been getting objects to look like they have more polygons than they do, because we still aren't at the point where we can fill the screen with polygons and have it run like water. When a dynamically rendered polygonal environment looks like one of Blizzard's videos (or Pixar's, or whatever) then we'll have perfected polygons. And you know what? That will take a lot less computational power than this molecules thing.

It's not fair because it's hard to do.

This gives competitive gaming a whole new definition!

A much, much less competitive definition.

Edit: As a side note, I am going to get completely demolished in this tournament.

Correct, in Acmlm's personal junk drawer.

That's the handy answer to the "what does acmlm mean?" threads that used to come up all the time.

Wonder why they don't show up anymore.

Seriously, this kind of logic fails. Where do you draw the line? If one person is good at sniping people with green shells but his opponent sucks at aiming, are green shells banned too? Snaking is a way of playing the game. If it were an obvious exploit or something, then it would make sense to ban it, but it just means doing miniturbos continuously. There's no clear-cut way to define when you're powersliding around curves like all the FAIR PLAYERS should do versus when you're powersliding a little too often and getting speed boosts all the time and therefore being a POOR SPORT.
It's fine. Learn 2 play.

I'm smart enough to either preview and disable layout or ninja-edit, both removing the whole thing, eliminating all scrollbars.

Emil not having enough of the most important cells to do so in his posts is not my problem, just my layout code.

Shyguy wins for the Bubs thing.

All this blabbering reminds me that anybody who does not vote me for best layout is wrong.

These superpowers are already vaguely defined. If you start thinking through them, you'll realize they're physically impossible! Trying to come up with logical means for them to work is fail. Just take them as described.

Even if this weren't a completely unjustified assertion, it's completely unenforceable and there's tons of gray area between the two situations you mentioned.

Provide some arguments that make sense. Using a difficult technique to gain an advantage in a game is not unfair, anymore than tricky multi-button combos are unfair in fighting games.
