Durrrr, and if you're pausing all the time to screw around with shit but you keep running at normal speed then you age faster than everyone else. Yes, it turns out you can't think these through all the way without running into some IRONIC DRAWBACKS that will hit you like the guy in the story who gets his wish granted but it ends up killing him.

Nothing wrong with people discovering your secret. As these are described now, pause is my choice. I chose rewind before it got stealth-nerfed.

I was just saying that we shouldn't start coming up with dumb drawbacks to these things. Can't we have super powers without horrible consequences? I mean, come on.

Anyway, pause is clearly the winner. I would definitely keep things paused while sleeping. You could easily get into the habit of pausing instinctively if something bad happens (e.g. someone throws a punch). You could "teleport." You could take your time and dominate in multiplayer games. Basically you could just be purely awesome all the time. To other people, it would appear that you never slept, you could teleport, you can do everything perfectly in no time at all, etcetera etcetera.

Exactly. I don't know why rewind was nerfed, even if you could keep your memories it would still lag behind pause in terms of pure practicality. (I'd choose it for the fun factor.)
