Don't type in all caps please... You'll make people's minds and eyes hurt. | |||

I found with the iggy level, (I didn't try with the mario start screen) if you just open the level in LM (it's unlocked) and move one of the objects around, then back into place, then save, the level will work without the white screen glitch. | |||

If you plan on ripping the forest/trees BG from Do Re Mi, I wish you good luck, I was too stuborn to allow it to take up more than one gfx file, cause I didn't want to remove part of FG2, but as far as I can tell it's the only way... | |||

Hmm... I'd have never thought you could make overworld trees look so good in a regular level... As for that fence, well to me it looks kind of ugly, priority or no.
EDIT: hmm, I like the vines in screenshot 5, and the usage of the SMAS desert FG with the blue pallette works well, but you need to make the FG darker.. (edited by Xeruss on 04-13-06 01:50 PM) |

I know how to unlock demo world tlc I think. I just haven't tried through cause I've been too busy with my own hack, and I'd rather not put out the effort.
Anyways, you won't believe me unless I tell you so... FuSoYa basicly cut the ROM into pieces and reassembled it with gaps inside, all that should be required is for someone to just write a program that will scan the ROM, find the gaps, (I forget the size^^;; delete them, and re-write any JSLS. I think that should do it at least, and after that just run RLM on it... |

Originally posted by spel werdz rite + Well, from my limited experience with locked ROMS, that won't work... I believe Fu uses a form of graphics compression, (which I'm guessing you could bypass) but... yeah if nothing else, you could just rip everything with BGmapper, (that's how I stole his koopas) Also, I shouldn't have used the word "cut", but they don't make a LoROM-HiROM converter last I checked. Which I find it interesting he only did the levels, (but resoursful, otherwise it would've taken a while) |

Sorry man, but put frankly it sucks. I didn't feel like using savestates, so I couldn't beat the creatively named level, "1-2" You should never put doors in yoshi's house, unless you're BMF. Which on the subject of that door, was it supposed to lead to a boss? Cause on my comp it lead to a dead-end, and I had to kill myself.
Ah well, you know map16 as you proved in the level "dodgeball field" but otherwise you have much to learn yet. You need to work harder, and probably play some other hacks, learn what the standard hack looks like, then mabye your hack will be a better use of time. |

No, the mist is a layer 3 option, (not sure what the settings have to be though) | |||

Originally posted by THE ONE Well, you could just do like with the dino-rhinos, and make stomping the giant goomba spawn a little goomba, but then you might look lazy... You could use the fake-type stompable goomba, where it falls off the screen instead of getting squished. |

Damn, this better not become a new fad, I still have a dial-up computer, and a hard drive with only 10GB, if more and more hacks start doing this, I won't be able to find out what's going without downloading them first. | |||

I like Anikiti's work, its just he never switches the GFX he uses, I've played about four of his hacks now, and they all use the same sets of ExGFX, otherwise I think he has okay level design, he just needs to rip a few more sets of original ExGFX, then his hacks would be even better. | |||

How about this, create a block that activates the POW, without changing the music, and without the timer. Then just use the directional coins. Granted you wouldn't be able to have loose coins for the rest of the level, but it seems a semi-easy fix to me. | |||

What would REALLY suck is if they didn't give it a pause button...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ya know, Acmlm's should start a desert bus hacking forum... I can see the usless-nes of the threads that would be started: I just hacked the bug animations! There are now 255 in the game! (edited by Xeruss on 04-25-06 12:54 PM) |

I think you have to edit the sliding koopa gfx, I'd check, but my hacking stuff is on my other comp...
