Looks nice, I had at one time intended to rip from the NES version too, but decided not to, By the way, even if it was Ghettoyouth who ripped it, that screenie tuned out nice.

Um... altering graphics dosen't require ASM, and if that's not what you meant, you need to rephrase that.

There is a difference between a joke hack, and a newb hack, I remember the first levels I made were all flat, and they sucked, you can't just design perfect levels in three minutes, it takes time before you can even learn to make good graphics, in short I'm sorry to say that it'll need more work before you post about it again.

You'll need to use the map16 editor to get them to turn out right. And as a side note, if you can't find the graphics in the workshop, give credit to the person who ripped it originally.

Ehh... there is a faster way, open your hack in LM, and open his hack in LM, then go to the coresponding map page, and use ctrl+click ctrl+right-click to transfer, it makes it easier to keep the map pages clean.

Looks good, but I see it caught a mutant strain of F***ed-up pallette syndrome, it took me a good two hours to fix mine, otherwise it looks challenging and unique.

Open screeshot in PSP or MSpaint, copy the selected area, and paste it to YY-CHR, then use the boss pallette changing program by smallhacker to make it look right.

Look under one of the menus, and see if the "use joined gfx files" is checked, if it is, modify Allgfx, if not just insert the gfx.

Yes, after kalieann told me this, I began to look through the tilesets, yes those are what trigger the no-yoshi level intros.

Well, it is comforting to hear #5 on the list, most of my levels are easy, yet fun, and here I thought people wouldn't like that...

Um... That overworld looks a bit too much like the old one for my tastes, but I like the way you used the smoke sprite...

Well, seeing as I can't program, i'll just make a request. A "block scan" feature, it would scan the ROM for the custom ASM, and display which block was stored where, cause it's murder if you lose that stupid list that holds the blocks...

I just made a startling revelation, legoman is actually BMF54123's joke account, and I predict in about a year, he'll release the final version of Odyssey under legoman's name, and tell us the truth. Either that, or legoman’s just helpless...
Oh yeah... I'm a genius.

I agree with the first half of your post, but as for the second half... If BMF is already working a yoshi-only hack, well put simply we don't need two people trying the same thing at the same time...

So who wants to help

Is this some sort of a power trip against me? Are you..... jealous perhaps Mad at me for some reason?

I MADE A THREAD JUST FOR THESE KIND OF THREADS!

No one reads the stickies anyway, he'd have ahd to wait a good month before getting an answer... And what DID happen last time JJ gave out money?

For that, first boot up the overworld editor. Next, check under the overworld menu. Select "Edit Colors and Palettes". When you get there, you are free to make edits to the colors. Just make sure they look good.

And don't forget to click "Save RGB's to ROM" when you're done.
