You mean permanently recolor it? Try using the 8x8 editor for it.

I just had an idea, what if we created a board to house some cool sprites that can be made with the mario world reconfigurator e.g.
38803B88225C0DA9EDA9 ASM pointer A90D = A sprite that will hurt Mario for as long as he is on the same screen as it. Please try to keep the codes in a clean format, and with a use, I'm not entirely sure what use the above code may hold, but that's the beauty of examples. Please no: i juST FoUnD a sprit that freezs the game but I do,nt no tha code ethier. |

What are you talking about? unavoidable bullet bill? I got past it, it wasn't very cool, and I eventually stoped playing out of boredom. But they can be beat.

Ya know, something somewhat similar happened to me once too, I had tinkered with sprite 36 and I screwed up my ROM, I then took all the levels off the original and put them to an untouched ROM, transfered ExGFX, and it still left me with a problem. When I reached about screen nine I had about the same problem you describe here. The game would freeze and the screen would go blank, however it was fixed when I tried transfering the levels again.
Did you alter the sprites? That may be the problem I believe you should try to transfer the levels to a clean ROM again, and if it was due to sprite alteration, don't do whatever you did. (edited by Xeruss on 12-13-05 03:14 PM) |

I figured I'd let you know, DOS programs make up the majority of hacking programs.
HEX workshop is a DOS program Translextion is my prefered HEX editor. It is Win32 and can be found at zophar.net. By the way I recommend you try hacking ONE game at a time, I saw your question in SMW hacking. |

Um...
Assertion failed: parameter_count ==3, file tool.cpp, line 213 abnormal program termination. What does this mean, or what shall I say file am I missing? By the way, there are better upload sites then source forge |

Sorry if my reply looks like shyguy's.
I believe you can follow through with it, but it won't be to easy, to design levels simple enough to beat without power-ups, unless of course you find a way to make a large star, and have mario's front and back graphics read from a different part of the rom. All in all if you want to follow through with it, the easyiest way would be with no powerups. Oh, and for what shyguy said, if you are going to use an invincible star, use the one from peter_ac's graphics hack. |

If you're talking about TLP not letting you edit you're ROM or .bin file, it may be marked read-only. If it's not and TLP still gives you problems, download YY-CHR, it's better anyway.
If your problem has nothing to do with TLP or YY-CHR, BE MORE DESCRIPTIVE! Thank you |

I think PC shows us the state the world is in, I mean, look at all the lawsuits. It's basically cause of money that all our problems occur. (That man just said Merry Christmas! It really doesn’t offend me and I shouldn't really care... but now I can sue him for it YES!) I mean it's appalling what it's come to.

Um... I didn't believe the patch had a problem, but I did just realize that I didn't finish Iggy's castle... CRAP!
Um, check back in about a week, and I'll have a better demo, WITHOUT any of the said errors, I hope |
