Are you sure the lego blocks are part of the foreground? If so open the map16 page again, and make sure the "block acts like" is set to something suitable, like 100 or 130, you must repaste the tile, and save that too. |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you say you mean to rip pallettes from screenshots? If you're ripping the backround through m-16-k, try setting the pallette import to zero, as well as the 8x8 remap, if you're just trying to take different pallette combonations, just savestate in the level, and open the savestate through the pallette importon Lunar Magic, Hope this helps!

Um... I have agree with kailieann, it does look kind of odd, and why in the world do you want to fight yourself?

How about this, if you feel you HAVE to do cameo levels, at least try one from SMB2 they're a challenge to make, and usually turn out short, but it does provide that originality factor, once again however try and copy levels from different games, such as sonic, donkey kong country, Donkey kong county 2, and even the original donkey kong(tha'd be cool) Just be sure to use lots of original levels and graphics, and ALWAYS be sure to post screenshots, sounds pretty cool though

Gahh! why is everything added after I have to learn to do it myself? I do however agree, this ought to be stickied, then we can direct newbies here when they ask, fairly in-depth by the way.

So your asking if (e.g) you could make a block that you can only find in castles, appear the very same way in a "yoshis house" tileset level, then the answer is no, you need exgraphics or change the tileset.
If thats not what you meant, explain further. |

As for problem 3 I think I can help, first as for the flashing ground, check to see if the level is using any animations, if it is delete them.
If everything is off color when it's in lunar magic too, that would be a pallette problem, if it's off color only in the game, then I can't help you, And if you are saying it's the lettering thats off color, the use the titlescreen editor and set it right. |

What If you searched for the "MARIO START!" graphics, and the "LUIGI START!" graphics, and just pasted Luigi over Mario, sorry if that dosen't work, I haven't really had interest in changing that sort of thing...

Massive pallette error? well, It may be that level was never meant for an exit, e.g. if it was inteneded to be a level with ExGraphics, it may just be that the pallette was designed for use with a different set of graphics. If not, on the bright end of things, the yellow and blue look cool. If it's not the answer to your problem, I'm sorry but I cant help you further unless I see the ROM.

Boring overworld, good level design, bad pallettes.
And be VERY sure to remove that link to a ROM site now, you cannot direct link to any site that has a rom on it, otherwise I agree with fabio, the name makes no sense. It may take a while to perfect, but it looks good. |

I have the same problem as Tatrion, only I just critiqe my alredy made levels, until I'm either prompted to delete them, or they look nothing like the original

I'm not sure if this would work or not, but how about a block that dissplays level message 1 or 2 when the A button is pressed (only when mario is touching it of course)

Why is it you post about your hacks on every board you can? They're in the hack database already.

It looks amazing! I like it when someone can actually design their own graphics instead of ripping them. Looks Great!

Originally posted by Glyph Phoenix Okay, Yeah your right, Sorry. Anyway, I was wondering if you could give me the ROM addresses to change in order to remove the yoshi coin reset at the end of every level, and how to remove the points received from each coin, and finally how to increase the max amount carried to 255. If no one knows what to change, some ROM addresses for the yoshi coins would suffice. Thanks |
