| I've searched the internet and have found no guide to installing Pokemon Quartz (the hack by Baro). I figured that since this is a hacking board that I could get some help here.
I've downloaded Pokemon Quartz and Pokemon Ruby. When I patch Ruby and load the newly patched Ruby on VisualBoy it loads the battery and the game window turns white. I think I'm seriously doing something wrong. But what? Well, now that I've asked that I'll introduce myself. I'm ShogunPenguin or Shogun for short. I was origionally a poster on the Gamefaq's message boards but was banned. (I was framed!) Check my profile for more info. Thanks for reading, I think I'm going to enjoy this board. I would of posted this in the "Pokemon Hacking" section but I'm lacking authorization.  |

| What emulator would you recommend for playing Quartz on?
Also, do I need something called the "Pokemon Ruby Intro Hack" to play Quartz? |

| WOOT! I finally got Pokemon Quartz to work. The problem was that my Ruby ROM was corrupted. It's really fun aside from the spelling mistakes. Many thanks to Baro for making it. | |||

| I am wondering how to edit text on my Pokemon: Ruby GBA ROM.
I have searched for a text editor, but have not found one. If someone could direct me to one or tell me how to edit text, I would really appreciate it. Cheers, Shogun |

| Ah. I would assume that any text editor would work for any GBA ROM. I just used Pokemon as an example. |
