| Schwa smiles inside. "Interesting. I may be in danger. I love it when that happens."
Schwa's arms suddenly flare with turquoise ether, which begins travelling along the cables and towards Slur, assuming she doesn't do something about it. Should it reach her, what happens is a total mystery. (You can be assured it's anything but dangerous, though.  )
Yiusi finishes praying in a hurry and dashes outside the temple. She's almost to the doors by now; just a few more seconds... OOC: I love this.  |

| Schwa finishes charging.
"Lightning, is this? You are ignorant." Schwa takes a defensive stance, and the lightning bolt hits him square on. Schwa's body glows with the electric energy for a slight moment, then the glow fades, leaving a nearly unharmed Schwa. "Why, didn't you know that a plant is highly resistant to electric attacks? You may thank my ancestors for that defense." (By ancestors, he's referring to the spirits of nature. This mentality comes from him sharing the same mind as Pingo.) Schwa holds his charged hand out, and his hand becomes coated in a white sphere of light, which breaks apart right after forming, creating a globe of BB-sized energy spheres around his hand. "Psi Shroom Cannon!" (echo effects) The dense globe of energy bullets then proceeds to fire, one by one, like an energy-machine gun, into Onetail. Each hit should do almost average damage, and should they all hit the damage is very high. Schwa keeps his arm's aim locked on to Onetail's position as he attacks, in case Onetail tries to get out of the way. At the same time, Schwa calls for Cappa. "Former opponent! How are you faring? What is the possibility of an alliance against these three opponents?" |

There is a pause as Allaura concentrates, for intense concentartion is the only way to conjure up another telepathic link after the incident. Then the link is made, and as this happens the "tainted magic" becomes VERY powerful... "Schwa, Allaura. You're needed. Involves Star. Are you busy?" "Kinda! We've got 20 guys handling a stampede of Elec Bears rampaging through Denjo Harbour! *urg!* They're really powerful and we're expending more effort than humanly possible keeping them away from the Power Plant!!" "Okay, good luck and hurry up..." As the link closes, Allaura holds her head dizzily. "I'm so... tired... You holdin' up alright, Mel?" By now, though, it may be too late for that question... |

| "I'll heal your vision in a moment... as soon as I assure us that our foes won't be pulling off any more tricks."
Schwa turns his attention to Twotails and Threetails. He runs to Cappa's side and holds his right arm out again, which flares with more ether and spores. "Mekuzine Coffee." (echo effects) Schwa sprays more dust out of his palm-- this time, it's an extremely dark brown and similar to very thick soot. He sweeps the dust all in front of Cappa and directly towards Cappa's two opponents. Should it coat them, it'll "muck up" the part of their DNA that controls special attacks and Techs, causing the Silence condition and making ANY Techs impossible until cured. (Don't read this the wrong way; though it affects part of the DNA, it is NOT embedded in the DNA and can be removed with a simple status-curing spell from an ally.) Schwa quickly turns to Cappa and quietly states, "Yeah, fighting a plant can get annoying when you find a status condition every 10 seconds.  " |

| To Blue Warrior: You don't know this guy, man. Peardian is the BEST Mario Sprite/Art designer you'll ever find on the entire Internet.
For instance, he did THIS, almost from scratch... 
We call him The Uncanny Mario Art Master, and for a damn good reason! Also, aside from Sprite Comics, P-money here also practices the art of Shapeshifting and helping his pal Magikoopa Myster in battle against things like giant Pirhana Plant Cactuses. So yeah, no messin' around with the Almighty P. 
To Peardian: Interesting. I don't believe I've seen the very first episodes before. All of it is absolutely fantastic, as usual. Some of your pics are broken... Perhaps thou shalt get them fixed, whatsay? Web Design is my thing, so if you ever need help with the technological stuff, well...

Allaura's hands flare with red ether as she takes an offensive stance, convinced that a spirit is afflicting Mel. How ridiculous, really... |

| Schwa finishes charging, and his right fist gains the globe of bullets again, a clear sign that this attack will be Psi Shroom Cannon. He notices the hazard...
"Cappa, before I can attack, you're going to need to bring up a shield for us, else I'm bound to be hit. These attacks are corrosive to my body matter." None of the raining attacks have hit Schwa yet, but next turn... hence the need for a barrier. Alpha Psibeam DS comes his way. Schwa raises a hand and concentrates, as the projectile stops and changes color to a silver-white. "Hm, Forte... Don't forget who's attack you origionally borrowed from. " He sends the converted attack at Forte, which homes in on him as well.
Since Forte had used GA to get it from Schwa several battles ago, and Schwa's energy signature was embedded in the attack, Schwa can convert the attack every time he's nearby when it's launched. Boy, if only Slur were here to see this! (edited by Schwa on 11-26-05 05:03 PM) |

| "Eep!" Yiusi backs up a little as Schwa is thrown towards her. He lands with a thud right on the stone steps leading into the door. Everyone can hear his back get a nice adjustment by the collision.
Though Yiusi seems defenseless, as TenguMan closes in, the sphere of gel in her hand automatically hovers and lashes out, attempting to slam into the summon at a fast speed. With opposing forces in play, dodging the attack isn't likely, but Yiusi doesn't know about the one-hit-KO rule for this summon. "What are you talking about? Schwa isn't dead!" Yiusi stammers, "Otherwise he would've exploded. Schwa said that Psi Warriors become etheral when they d--" "Shaddap, Yiusi, play along for God's sake!" Only Yiusi can hear this cryptic, mischievous message. "Huh? ...Oh NO, poor Schwa! You're dead, dead as can be! I'll miss you for the rest of my life!" She breaks out crying over Schwa's body, gripping the limp body tightly. Schwa works not to make a sound as Yiusi squeezes him so hard he practically gets a second adjustment. "I'll never forgive you for killing my hero, Slur!" she then says, thrusting a finger towards Schwa's opponent. "Everything's all your fault! I hope Sensae comes along and destroys you!" "A little less melodramatic." "?? ...Well, I guess I'll go home now and do the laundry. ...Oh wait, I don't have a home! Hahaha! Well then, I suppose I'll hit the road and continue on with life, and forget this ever happened. Maybe I'll find another hero someday... but I'll never know for sure..." She turns and exits the temple, pretending to cry as she does. After she gets far enough away, her "cry" turns into laughing. Schwa secretly charges up energy... |

Allaura, technically just as dazed as Mel, brings up the best etheral defense she can at the moment... She folds her arms over her body, which flare with red ether, and the sword strikes them, doing some damage but not much. "The Psi Warriors are not impure. The Assets that empower us fill us with the holiest energy in existance; Psi. Maybe you're allergic to Psi... I dunno, could be. Now I'm warning you, I don't want to attack an innocent child like you, but strike me again and I will put an end to your assult faster than you can say Billy Graham." Allaura holds her right arm in the air, charging energy for an advanced Tech. She hasn't decided what to use it for, though... |

| As Slur vanishes into the air, Schwa coats himself in ether to reduce the damage of the shockwaves. He figures she can still see him from the air, but not necessarily a barrier.
Schwa then gets up, and sends a telepathic message to Slur, wherever she is... "Remember, a spar is one thing. Bloodthirstiness is another. If you want to destroy Forte, remember one small rule... Don't allow your spirit to fall into Murkland. Positive emotions bring out unbelievable power and resist pressure. Now, I'd like to see you attack me from up there, so don't keep me waiting, and remember that this is your ultimate training session, Slur..." Schwa finishes charging, looks upwards (where Slur is hiding above the clouds), and makes the Bring it On motion... At the same time, Schwa checks his Unique Mana reserves. 9 turns until UMana is fully charged. OOC: I'm not sure about Slur's actions in her last turn... If I screwed up, PM me and make sure to be clear in the future. |

| The barrier Cappa brought up deflects the elemental Fire-punches and any of the raining beams from the previous attack.
Next come the shruikens, en route to break the shield. Schwa's hands flare with ether, and as the blades approach, Schwa thrusts his right arm out, as a mushroom-like dome of wind surrounds it and blows against the shruikens in one sudden pulse, deadening the projectiles and sending them to the ground. Finally, SouthWind. The barrier is destroyed, and Schwa kneels, flaring with bright ether. The wind attack damages him, but he seems unhurt. "Plants are also resistant to wind," he says after the attack passes. He wasn't so sure about Cappa, though. And at last, David and Forte's new fusion... Schwa nudges Cappa. "I believe we may have a little bit of a problem... <(0,0)> " Schwa whispers, a little wigged. "Plan of action? Should I go ahead with a status affliction or what?" Schwa places his palms on the ground at the same time, preparing for a possibly useful Tech if necessary... Meanwhile, Schwa's UMana has become Fully Charged. | OOC: Somebody should kick this guy out of the FFA. He Godmods every turn, he's making 4 attacks per turn, and he's attacking opponents twice before allowing them to counter. If this keeps up, I'm getting a Mod on his ass. (And I realize that it's 1 guy vs. everyone, but it's still taking it too far.)
Since Psi Warriors can't bleed, Schwa is at a slight advantage against the slashes. He blocks like crazy with his ether-coated arms, decreasing the damage slightly, but each hit still sends spores flying from his arms. With each hit Schwa receives, Schwa channels some natural energy through his body, giving a slight chance to inflict a random status-condition to FCD each time he connects with Schwa that attack. Then the energy attack. "He's just not letting us up for air..." Schwa coats himself in ether and races to the blast, plowing through it. For a while he can't be seen... then as he emerges through the other side, his Soul Unison has been deactivated. Schwa shakes his head. "Woo-ha! It always takes some getting used to once the Pingo morph is deactivated!" Schwa checks his UMana. "Annnnd we're ready to go!! Cappa, whaddya think? Summon a powerful ally, Stat-boost, Destiny Saber or Phantom Spheres? I need input!" Schwa's hands are flaring hugely with pure gold ether and forming intricate patterns around him. |

| Allaura braces for the attack. "Mirror of Allaura!" (echo effects)
She releases her charged energy into a defensive Tech. A dome appears in front of her, which looks like liquid glass. ALL the lightning glances off the shield in every direction, making it a real hazard for Mel to dodge her own attack (though it wouldn't hit for very much, if at all, since it was spread out when deflected). The interesting thing about this Tech is that without the turn of charged energy, the lightning would've broken it. Charging up gave it it's luster. About 5 seconds after the lightning is gone, the dome-shield begins to quiver and meld into another shape... Mel says "Billy Graham". "Figure of speech," Allaura quietly mutters... OOC: Info about Allaura... (Her Profile isn't up yet, so here's some info for you.) A large quantity of her attacks are "over-time" abilities, meaning they take their full effects over many turns. That is Allaura's battle-strategy. The longer the fight continues, the tougher it will be to win the battle. |

| Recently I snagged my own copy of Diamond Caves III (the full-version of course), and it ROCKS. No pun intended... The game is basically Boulder Dash with like a hundred different game elements to work with, AND a Level Editor. I mean, you've got, like, conveyor belts, dynamite, treasure-chests, a bunch of kinds of enemies, lots of different jewels each with own effects... The list can go on forever. Basically, it's very diverse. Google it if you've never seen it before.
Well, whaddya guys think of THIS? 
My first level with the game! The timer's set to 360 and for a damn good reason! I played it, beat it on Try 1, works great, no bugs at all (literally, even ), and needless to say I'm very very happy. (Notes: The yellow and green Light Barriers are initially set to ON, there's a Mole in the chest, both Amoebas do NOT grow, the Forcefield Coin is set to about 10 seconds, the Green Wheel Doors are set to about 3.5 seconds.)
I want to ask you guys... Do any of you make levels, how many of you even know about the game, and what do you think of my first level? I'll have a downloadable file ready on my website once I've got enough levels ready... The game does cost money to get the full version, but there ARE some cracks and such out and about... use discernment. |

| That happened to me, too. There's a patch to fix it, but by law I don't think I can give the site name... Google something like 'Diamond Caves 3 crack'; the site where I got the fix has a grey-fading background.
Edit: Not a glitch, to be honest. The author states in his site FAQ that that feature was put there to activate when someone typed in a bad Registration Code. Sneaky, really, but that's what the patch is for...  (edited by Schwa on 11-28-05 01:57 PM) |

| But the defensive barrier doesn't exactly disappear... It quivers, and, like shiny liquid metal, morphs into the shape of 3 glass spheres. Then, one by one, the spheres ignite into different colored fires-- one ignites with yellow-green fire, one with blue-violet, and one with red-orange. The spheres hover in front of Allaura and twist and curve around each-other in intricate formations and patterns.
The new kind of barrier stands between Mel and Allaura. Unless she does something to clancel or redirect her attack, she will hit the spheres and either: Red-orange --> receive above-average Fire damage Yellow-green --> have a good chance to become poisoned and receive low Non-Elemental damage Blue-violet --> lose mana, and HP equal to the amount of mana lost. And the attack hasn't even finished preparing... it just still acts as a defense! Meanwhile, Allaura focuses, and conjures up a wall of force to try and blow Mel back if she makes it past the mystic glass spheres. Not a super-defense, but it's definitely something. |

| Schwa awaits calmly, not letting in any room for stress or pressure...
...and when the moment comes, on the first dive, Schwa does a double-backflip into the air, and assumes a hovering stance. The second dive comes slightly from the front, so Schwa is able to glide sideways to the left to dodge the second dive. And on the third dive, before she even begins it, Schwa's body flares up with turquoise ether as he spins like a drill and aerial-charges Slur's approaching figure, fists outstretched! Schwa has officially initiated a game of aerial Chicken, and if Slur doesn't move out of the way, both fighters could take heavy damage. That's Schwa's favorite part.  |
