Well I must have misunderstood what he said then.

anyway we got 3 days left before the Mario 64 edit is released. (hopefuly)

I was thinking I was going to make one of the mario 64 games funny and the other serious. But I ant too sure what i'm going to work on first.

I would try morphing the two toghether, like Goombas falling from the sky with insane amouts at one part while a chomp blocked an Invisi-cap box that gets you to a star.
It's just a suggestion, do what ever you want.

By the way, Hyper Hacker,
At the SM64 Hacking thread, you responded to someone
"WTF, of course you can hack codes. This isn't the place to discuss it though."
How the heck do you do it?

You still have tile-molester and hex editors

I actually have a small problem, whenever I try to click the link (on the first page) I end up getting [http://folk.ntnu.no/kenth/tm/] on my screen.
EDIT: P.S. where can I get that HexEditor thing?

Yeah, I tried modifying "Super mario 64" into "Crazy Mario 64" using it, my emulator (Project 64) said that it was from another country or something like that and didn't start emulation, and yes, the extended ROM was US.

Hmm... the ROM does seem to play w/ 1964, but with messed up graphics, the worst of it is the mouse cursor doesn't work unless Options is on, I hope that TT64 doesn't have any problems with my ROM.
P.S. what's a checksum error?

Lightbulb! It's working now! I think I know the true reason now at what happened! the original file I changed the name into was EXTENDED, but when I copied SM64 and tried XVI32, it worked in play, and it was NOT extended, if I'm right (about 5/100 of the time) extended files have the ABCD pattern rewritten to the ROM, or I'm just lucky..._¬

You [might] be thinking about Toad's Tool 64, which hasn't been released yet, Tile Molster can (I think) add enemies, but I never got it to work. Mabey the XVI32 can work.

How do I enter it in P64? It doesn't work...I think I'm doing something wrong.

I think I know what's wrong, if you copy and paste these codes, usually everyone here puts spaces behind the codes (i.e. 123456[space]7890[space]) Most Emulators DO NOT ACEPT CODE LINES with spaces, which is why I never put in any mega long codes, I'd have to deal with deleting all spaces
I'm trying my best to make it seem I'm not complaining

I am GlitchGuy2, and ever since a few years back, I've carried that name, I chose this name not long after I befriended someone, he told me about a glitch that occured in Pokemon Red and Blue, when I came across Missingno. I realized glitches don't only hurt, and that they helped. Soon, I got a Hotmail address, I had no idea what to call myself, so I thought GlitchGuy, though it was taken already, so a 2 was added to it, and I recieved the name.
In 2005, I became affiliated with Lemmy's Land, and I've posted few glitches there, as well as my symbol in my comics. Soon I saw the glitches a game opens up when an Action Replay was used, I started using ARs around March 2006, I started using them for glitches, but soon power drug into my head, and I relized the true power of the AR, hacking! And I started learning the HEX and basics of how an AR works.
September 2006, I got an account an ACMLM, I had intrested myself in Level Editing, which I learned about in July of the same year. I joined the chat of Super Mario 64, both editing and Gamesharking, and I started becoming what I am today, a young, humorous, hacker who enjoys shifting games like clay.

I would be greatful to have approval, above is most of my GlitchGuy2 life.

I have 2 questions at that:
1. When inserting [24 08 26 0A 48 04 0E 04], do you have to add the [ and ]?
2. Do you add the [24 08 26 0A 48 04 0E 04] left or right from x400E8 or do you replace it?

I'm having trouble with that 8x8 Graphic editor (that is what your using to do these, right?) in LM, every time after editing sprites/objects and move up a level or play the game on Zsnes, the sprites return to their original appearance. I know I save the levels, too. So that can't be it...

Wow, complicated.
Check this! Does anyone remember that sample video on YouTube? If you do, you'd notice that you 'fly' around the castle while editing. I once came across something on Google (where I find everything) that carries the flying element, it's at
http://digg.com/gaming_news/Online_3D_Viewer_for_Mario_64_Peach_s_Castle.
It's not an editor, sadly, just something fun someone made.

Hehe, I like the Toad thing...
I also like that scavanger hunt, mabey, when the editor comes out, you can add sighns and make even more riddles (though that seems unlikely)

Darnit, I pressed F9 there and it asked me if I want to save the GFX level, though it asks/says something about extracting graphics to the or something like that, I don't understand this... it also says that the file cannot be openned and the graphic ext. thing again, what's with this extracting graphics thing?
Though in the question, it said exactly:
Do you want to save the current level GFX to file,
so it can be inserted to the Rom later?
Don't do this if you haven't extacted the graphics yet!

Which graphics and how do I extract them?
