Most assuredly, this question goes into the Pokemon Hacking forum, but as you have no approval for posting there, I'll keep this thread in here.

Thingy (which you can download here) is a decent table-based editor, as is Translhextion (here). (The latter actually is more powerful, but also more complicated for newbies to grasp than Thingy in the beginning)

As for the required tables, I only can second Yoronosuku's hint to use Google, Your Friend™; I would probably use a search query like "pokemon ruby GBA text table", without the quotation marks.

In the variant I know, you can't lose within 15 minutes of an external reason reminding you of the game (like this topic).

i.e. if you remember about that game on the bus spontaneously or whatever, next thing you do is going to the thread and posting that you lost.

It was a fad at this year's Ilmenau maths specialist summer camp. I remember a maths class where people were driving the (unknowing) tutor insane by throwing in exclamations like "Oh, I just lost." in the most improbable moments.^

Old, but still somewhat funny to read.

Especially seeing as how similar those arguments are to those brought up in campaigns against other things.

Randy- with just minimal changes to that costume, you could have gone as one of those Monty Python style Spanish Inquisition guys YTMND popularized.

NSNick- Where did you manage to get such a large printout of it? Either way, awesome.

rubixcuber- What was that character from again? I am sure I already saw it on the intertubes at some point.

Yoronosuku- People like you contribute to people like knuck thinking Japan's demographic chart is dominated by catgirls, maids and ramen addicted ninjas. _¬

The last time I dressed up was for a carnival party at elementary school when I was 8 years old. I went as one of those mushroom enemies from Secret of Mana. Too bad I didn't have anybody make pictures... it would be pretty hilarious to see me back then now anyway.

*sigh*

*tries to file this thread in the OMG SST IS WHAR? folder only to realize it is already full*

While I am kinda to blame myself for rarely ever disclosing material on my progress on the forums (while people of #rohmacking get treated to random screenshots and my pejorative remarks about the compiler among the lines of coding fairly often), a thread like this was really unnecessary. I picked up development on SST again already quite a while ago, and am progressing on it fairly well, though it doesn't go nearly as fast since I have too damn much to do on real life related subjects. (Currently, it is mostly the German National Computer Science Contest and preparations for random A-level exams (which are stretched out over 2 years here, kinda) killing my spare time)
While the core of the program is done by now, there's a number of features like proper import/export and sample editing which I really don't want to release it without. Something that might interest you is that the latest feature I added in is a functionable import of music data from Secret of Mana into it (thanks to Moppy for providing me the data, he's awesome). sample SPC from SMW

But yeah, I'll close this thread now. PM me if you have further questions.

Well over 50 hours. When I am at home during vacations, it makes a constant ~14 hours a day, making 98 hours a week. Otherwise, it's 2x14 hours on the weekends plus variable timespans between 8 and 5 hours a regular day depending on how many classes I have.

- FFVI: Johnny C. Bad
- Star Fox 2: all the planet themes except for Eladard and Meteor, which are both kinda sustainable

You know, you can configure ls to display the long-format list by default.
Even so, the short form is often much friendlier to overview if you have no need for all the additional data.

On a less related note...

A four-way tie between Kefka's and Terra's theme from FF6, Balmung's theme from .hack//Outbreak and Schala's Theme from Chrono Trigger.

Not an easy choice either on my side, but this made me notice a lot of games which have soundtracks I otherwise like a lot appear to entirely lack character-specific themes.

I can predict this is going to be totally random (mathematical evidence is on my side, anyway)...
On another note, I am using foobar2k and my music is conveniently sorted into albums, so I replaced the random album picking part with eyes-shut mouse movements.

Opening Credits: [Legend of Mana] Leading into Prosperity
Waking up: [Shadow of the Beast II] Game Over (so fitting. )
First day at school: [Lufia II] Battle #2
Falling in love: [.hack//Outbreak] ev20 Kubia's 4th Phase (must be a cataclysmic experience.)
Fight Song: [Xenogears] Stage of Death
Breaking Up: [Final Fantasy 10] Song of Prayer ~ Shiva
Prom: [Star Fox 2] Unused Cutscene 2
Life: [Chrono Cross] Phantom Ship
Mental Breakdown: 113.mp3 from the TwilightRO soundtrack (can't identify what it is)
Driving: [Final Fantasy 6] Blackjack
Flashback: [Super Mario RPG] A New Partner
Getting back together: [.hack//G.U.] キミ初心者 ("You Beginner"?)
Wedding: [Ragnarok Online] Time Up !! (lol)
Birth of child: [Legend of Mana] Depression Blues
Final battle: [Seiken Densetsu 3] Swivel
Death Scene: [Rocket Knight Adventures] Stage 7
Funeral Song: [Xenogears] Very Windy outside ambience
Ending Credits: Hirano Aya - Hare Hare Yukai (so my hope to get through this without the J-Pop in my etc labeled playlist didn't help after all -.-)
