A combination of consistent intolerance towards Islam and Muslims as well as a media and government that does not do much to explain the difference between an extremist Muslim and a 14 year old boy who is a pacifist Muslim who happens to disagree with the concept of war in the Middle East. I know that sounds like a hyperbole, but the vast majority of America, Canada and Europe and other nations are fairly uneducated about Islam.

Since I've learned lots about Islam through well...learning when I think of a jihad, I think of a concept of two warring factions within oneself, which is one of the original philosophies that shaped jihad.

Marriage, legally, is just a civil union. Marriage as a term should be relegated to the religious world. That way churches like the United and the Metropolitan Community Church can use it for what it is really meant for. Joining two people. The Catholic, and other churches, can choose to do what they want too.

I prefer the pragmatist approach to these issues.

I'm going to see it. Only to see what we can expect out of the Jackson in the coming years. He's going to start getting more and more and more and more and more high profile films. LotR was surprising in the fact it wasn't a fuck up. Although I do enjoy his older films (Dead Alive, Brain Dead, Meet the Feebles, Heavenly Creatures, etc.) I can see that he may have problems becoming a serious director. He came out of the B-Movie racket. I may be a fan...But if he is going to mostly be remaking films or using large licenses I feel that he may become frustrated with certain levels of constraint and fuck it up.

As for Kong, I never liked the hairy ape. I watched the JAPANESE version of Godzilla vs. King Kong. The Godzilla = <3

I've always said happy holidays. It's not really that big of a deal. A lot of my friends celebrate Yule and other holidays because they're NOT CHRISTIAN. I don't really give a shit if someone says happy holidays or merry christmas or crazy quanza or happy hanukah or a solemn and noble ramadan or a yelling yule or ANY OTHER THING. Fuck, just say it.

If you think too hard on this topic you're going to break your brain. I mean, look at what happened to FOX news. It went from Terror Level Retard to Terror Level Bill O'RLY.

As for the "indian" thing Black Lord is saying. Sure, I've got lots of Indian buddies. One of them is named Vijay Singh. Unfortunately the phrase he is thinking of is aboriginal. Like my friend John Bear Foot who is Cree.

I say we should just call it Sales Season and take the fucking religious aspect out of it. I am the only person I know that actually fucking acknowledges the fact that it is the celebration of Christ's birth. Going to Christmas Mass and shit. I beat out every other Christian I know (except for my buddy Andre...but he's a seminarian).

Young one, take into account the various Christian views. Namely Bonaventurian, which is decidedly anti-Aristotlean. Sure, Aquinas and such may have enjoyed The Philosopher, but many Franciscans were deeply concerned due to the increase in agreement with the agent intellect and the concept of spherical intellect of The Commentator.
