| Why the hell would you want DVD playback on your Wii so bad? I mean, for 250 bucks you could just buy...4 or 5 or 7 cheapo DVD players.

| If it were coming to DS, I'd be inclined to agree. However, it is going to a totally new system. Whatever I say. I mean, it is ridiculous that it appears that they're being released as TWO seperate games. I mean, it is hardly innovative or anything, but what can you do? Square-Enix is just trying to make a buck sellings it prime franchise. And why make something new when you can repackage? | |||

| The last thing we need in this world is another full generation of drooling FFVII fans. Not passive ones, but the terrible ones that must be destroyed. Square knows this, Enix knows this. They joined forces to stop this from happening (btw, I love(d) FFVII til' I met the fans)
I'm with death on this though. FF aged. That's about all its done. FF2, I could argue has aged poorly, but is still quite playable and enjoyable. I'd like to see a minorly updated port of Chrono Trigger put out on DS or GBA. |

| On the point though, the wii is only 250 bucks. It has buttloads of features that make it really enjoyable and really. Who needs a god damned DVD player in their Wii? Between now and then (the release of an entirely new piece of hardware for the same cost) you'd probably be smarter to go out and buy a 20 dollar DVD player that works just as well.
However, I really don't think that Nintendo thought this through. It wouldn't have cost them too much more to include DVD playback (again, not that it was necessary). I find it insulting to me, as a consumer, if this turns out to be true. Why couldn't Nintendo have include the damned thing? |

| This is a recent television show that came out in Canada. It has been really, really hyped and actually a good deal of debate went on about it. Well, this evening came the second episode and it was brilliant. I know that the majority of this board is not Canadian and at that, those Canadians here, probably don't watch CBC. However, I can't stress enough how funny this show is.

| Yeah, and that's before all the wacky-woo tax cuts that every company gets. That's also before any other write offs that they can think of. And in the case of really big companies, that is before the creative accounting. Really, minimum wage raise won't hurt America. If anything, it'll help those that are struggling at the bottom.
Also, DD. I worked at a place for three years. The minimum wage didn't go up, but everyone else around me got raises. You know what really sucked? I didn't. I became a "manager". And basically I just bossed people around, had to work harder, and never got the fucking .25 cent raise I had been asking for for two years. You know what I did? I left and found another job where I was making 11 dollars an hour, 12 hours a day. 5 days a week. |

| I - has aged terribly poorly. Dawn of Souls version not too bad. Worth a try after you get into series.
II - it is like going from single cell organism to small rat sized jelly fish. A step in the right direction III - another astronomic jump in quality. But, yeah. DD said it, enjoyable but only play the DS version IV - S'alright. I haven't a thing against it, it just didn't capture my imagination too too much. V - HOLY SHIT. The series teeth are out in full gear. VI - Hallelujah god above. A nearly peffect game. VII - I have fond memories of the game itself, but it just hasn't aged. VIII - call me heretic. I really liked 8, even more than 7 IX - I'd say it is a head above 7, but I just didn't get into it like I did with 8 X - <3 an amazing game, you'll love it. XI - Lame MMO steer clear XII - I'd save 12 for a bit. It is a really good game, but play the SNES and PS1 games first before getting into this one. It...really deviates from the two hours I've played. Tactics - <3 probably the best thing to have FF attached to it. FFTA - not as deep as its forebear, but absolutely fun. MYSTIC QUEST - Why aren't you playing this game right now? Seriously. Why? Oh, wait. If you see this cartridge, destroy it. It may not be FF proper, but fucking kill it. Microwave. Other stuff - reh X-2. Reh DoC. Reh whatever else I'm missing. Chocobo Racing? Hell yeah. Chocobo Dungeon? Hell nah. Crystal Chronicles is fun...If you have 4 people with GBAs. | Torrent to episode 2!
yaaay! I really liked this episode's depiction of women growing up. It really brought forward some good questions for families, Muslim or otherwise, to ponder. Baber, the conservative Muslim, is pretty funny in it and you really sympathize with the character. Yusif and his wife make a hilarious side story. I thought it was absolutely brilliant. |
