Yes, it was split into the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic (commonly Slovakia) on New Year's Day 1993 in the Velvet Divorce.

The other state that you're thinking of is Yugoslavia, which comes from the Slavic word "yug" (south) and Slav (...yeah, that should be apparent). It broke off into...a very confusing situation that currently encompases the states of Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Slovenia. The geo-politics of the Balkans are of particular interest.

Michael Crichton was pretty much attacked universally by most climate scientists due to the shoddiness of that book.

hilariously, he was given an award by the Friend of Petroleun or some equally whacky institute.

Again, I'm going with what the scientific community is publishing on this front. And that is going to be my opinion - and it will change pragmatically as new information comes in. I'm not trained at all in these sciences, hence I'm going to go with the logical course.

I've only played Sneak King and Racer. Racer is really fun...just don't try the online stuff - my friends have not gotten it to work yet. But just playing around is pretty good. Its a 4 dollar half-decent kart game.

I'm pro-that.

As for me, I'm not celebrating Western Christmas this year We're pulling it Orthodox stylez. I think my grandma is just going to get me an icon. I've told my family that I'm absolutely disgusted with the entire idea of this thing, so I'm hoping that they don't buy me anything. Plus, it saves everyone some money that could be better spent than on some spoiled brat like myself.

I think addressing virginity is somewhat...counter-rpoductive because it is a primarility straight-derived and straight-enforced concept. It lacks many, many, many dimensions and is basically just used as a dirty word that makes it easier to demonize people.

It is out-moded. I figure that there is probably a better term that covers a lot of the bases without the straight baggage.

But your first time is a lot like being in the cold for three hours. You're shakey, confused, kind of bitchy, and really just want to eat a sandwich. Or maybe I had a really unique first time. I can't tell anymore.
