Gustaff Klimt certainly is an interesting artist. I'd go on about how the Baroque period was the very height of human expression in all forms of the arts (sans literature) , but I'll save that wind for my tutorial where I have to argue just that point

As for music I can honestly say that some of my favourite musicians that have lasted through my life include John Prine, Frank Zappa, Syd Barret, Bob Seger, and the Beach Boys. After that my current OMG favourite kind of floats around. Right now it is the Japanese band Pizzicato V.

Man, I remember that game. It was so much fun. For twenty minutes. Then you just kind of waited around and nothing really happened.

Broke up in 2002

addendum: It all really depends on the era of the albums you're picking up. The stuff in the late 90s was definitely good. Even the solo work the vocalist has done following the break up has been most excellent. However, I'm a giant fan of their earliest stuff. The music released aorund the Audrey Hepburn Complex era is absolutely great to listen to. Twiggy, Twiggy and other songs were just bloody gold. Has a nice 60s hipster vibe to it. The later easy listening stuff that they released like "Baby Love Child" is just great to sit down and have a some nice light drinks to and read. I love that tune. Even their club-oriented stuff like En 24 Decembre. Not to discount some of their more epic projects that bore out gigantic 7 minute masterpiece songs (sweet soul revue II). Plus, who can't help but love Tout Va Bien?

In addition to all their great tracks they're backed up by some pretty damned classy music videos. A quick search on YouTube yields great results that are fun to watch.

edit: I'll throw out a bone here. Futurama fans rejoice. http://youtube.com/watch?v=LgpIkvl6hUU

Well, you don't inhale.

You savour the flavour. Like a really, really, really fine wine.

Some people do end up chewing dip, because they're idiots. They end up getting really sick. My buddy did that because the clerk at the store didn't know the difference between the two.

I saw a preview of it during the TIFF private screenings (I am indeed that pimp) and it was absolutely blow-me-away awesome. If you like terrible humour or something similar...this is the film for you.

Why do you idle your time in front of a computer? You get something out of it.

Besides, that is only cigarettes. Pipe, hooka, cigars, and other types of tobacco offer a whole range of flavours and experiences. It is like drinking fine liquor, you're not getting anything out of it but the experience.

I guess that in some cases that really enjoying experiences is a fact of maturity. Mind you, everyone has some experiences that they're not going to take part in or enjoy. And not enjoying smoking is perfectly normal.

No, he is fully right. The humour of Borat (and his Albanian predecessor) came from the fact that he was used to unearth the vast stupidity inherent in society's peaks. Unfortunately it became popular and the character (particularly Ali G) became somehow RELATABLE for people...which I guess is the ultimate joke in the show. That what it has sought out to lampoon it has ended up offering kinship to. I actually am laughing at that. That the stupidity of society that it unearthed through representing its very depths enjoys watching itself be satirized. A Hero Cult of idiocy and ignorance perhaps?

I simply think that handing down the death sentence on him is somewhat ironic. I mean, one of the things that he is being tried for is the mass sentencing of over 150 people to death for breaking his own laws against killing him.

You know what would make good sense?

LOWER THE PRICE OF THE INITIAL PRICE PURCHASE OF THE GAME. ie. instead of 50 bucks you charge 25. Then you can attrition out addons and special things over the long term on a declining price basis. So, you release a new map for BLOODKILLER 598 or whatever. It comes out, it'll be 5 bucks. And then its price lowers until it reaches a point where it is free. I wouldn't mind buying a full game and paying for addons assuming that the addons are necessary additions that I wouldn't have been able to unlock in the initial product run of the game. Say, a car set of vehicles you'd normally find in a racing game. I would be pissed if I had to pay for a bunch of high performance cars that should've been in there in first. But, you know, if they had a special thing where they charged 6 bucks for 6 different super-whacky cars, that'd be cool. You know, offer the six vehicles (a giant bobble head Bobby Orr, a mad axe wielding Raskolnikar, or something silly like that) with a bunch of little tiny inconsequential addons for fun. Backgrounds, a song or two.

You could generate more content and such over the long term and make a lot of that content killer. Make people WANT to buy it. That's how you make more money and make more loyal consumers.
