I was putting things in the term of the conservative-liberal dichotomy. I wasn't making a direct claim that you or Silvershield were conservatives. Frankly I don't care whether you are or not.

However, Skydude. You really need to step back and understand that ever since I've taken this post that I've been CONSTANTLY attacked for this. I have every right to be defensive when people come up and consistently accuse me, wrongly, of being biased.

Beer: I usually drink Beck's. Sometimes I'll drink Lvivsk or Kozel. Amsterdam Nut Brown is great when I'm rich. PS: Imported beer - cheaper and better! However, strong beers are better. Duvel or Leffe for instance. American beers and major Canadian beers (aka better than American beers, but still worse than piss) are shit and cannot be consumed by nothing but swill-fed pigs. They're expensive for what you're getting.

Cider: STRRRROOOOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGGG BOW!

Southern Comfort, come on people. I love this stuff. I've got the nickname Janice Joplin because of how much I drink of it when I get going.

Whiskey is mega-awesome.

I drink a lot of sake, but that's because its cheap. You can get a 1 litre bottle of half decent sake for 8 dollars at the LCBO with 18% alcohol content. SWEEEEEEEEET.

Wines - I like a good redwine. White wine too. Oh, and fortified wines too.

When I have money I <3 Cognac and Brandy.

There are many high quality boxed wines.

Some smaller vineyards are forced to put their product into boxes for juvenile wine consumption due to cost constraints or for other purposes.

I will tell you the most awesome forms of booze known to man.

The vodka melon (cut a hole in a watermelon). Dump in a 26er. Wait a few hours. BAM!

Baileylope. Cut some cantaloupe into small squares. Put in bowl. Make it swim in Bailey's. Wait for it to absorb a lot of the drink. BAM!

Chances are it is a post-dream. I don't have links for it, but often times your dreams overlap and you make imprints on the memory sub-consciencly. Regardless of that, chances are that what you're experience aren't straight up dreams. Rather, a hodge-podge of emotions from the waking world working onto memories you do have from your dreams.

Most of the best wines for general consumption are 12-14 dollars Canadian.

And I stand by my boxed wine statement. I've had amazing white wines from the Niagra region in boxes. They're not in bags inside the box, nor juice boxes. They're inside nectar boxes. They're about 16 dollars. Stunning taste. Just not meant to be consumed after aging.

Most of those movies were widely panned critically. Even a piece of shit can do well commercially. If they did okay at the theatre doesn't mean that they are over-rated. Rather, it simply means that people are idiots. Very few of the movies in your list have any critical supporters.

Of course, the majority of this board has a disimal command over understanding film. So I'll reserve any critiques and mentions of technique for people that are better equipped to understand them.

The slippery slope. That's what people are afraid of. And frankly, I am too. I do nothing that is illegal, but what is to say that the government will always be so benevolent. Giving them legal precedent to monitor us is d-d-d-dangerous.
