"Sure, maybe matter was, but who made it happen? These things don't just "happen". I'm sure you've heard of the Watch Maker theory. If there is something, there has to be a creator. No matter how many times I smash something it won't make something greater, it will degrade. Sure, you can "smash" [combine] things to make something useful, but it is simply another seperate piece of matter and for that piece to become anything it needs a creator [or if the word creator bothers any of you, use the word master]. "

Alright Aquinas, without resorting to the 5 Proofs of Existence prove to me that it is IMPOSSIBLE for the creation of matter and energy through constant particle annihilation at the beginning of the universe. In fact, prove to me why it is impossible for the universe to have come into spontaneous existence. Quickly! Time is awasting! The sun has only so much hydrogen to burn for a few billion more years, because that's how long its going to take you to come up with an answer. And I'll be dead and won't care anymore. And you'll still be wrong.

Micro-evolution postulizes to macro-evolution. There is no quantum leap in logic where the next leap is the leap home. If it happens on a microbiological scale then why can't it happen within larger creatures? Plz xpln.

Um, the onus is on you to provide proper proven examples for us to refute with others. You've offered nothing but poor conjecture which I have shot down with definitive accuracy by explaining to you your whole Mt. St. Helen's thing. Which you promptly ignored.

You're being childish. Just stay out of this forum if you don't want to grow up and act like the big kids.

It all depends on the game, but since I play almost exclusively now, RTS...I suppose we can agree that I only use the mouse.

PS. If you haven't played Warhammer 40k Dawn of War GET THE FUCK OFF MY INTERNET

Christmas Cards go out Monday.

My family are being a bunch of weirdos this year and celebrating Eastern Christmas. I want my presents with all the other kids.

Because your statement on Islam is unlearned. As is your concept of paganism. There are many realms for the many pagan peoples. To group them as one is extremely arrogant.

Well, spel wordz rite, I suppose the secularist regime of the French Revolution must've been a terrible thing. They did much the same thing that religions did.

Suffice to say that your example is simply inaccurate. Late Antiquity and Mediaeval Catholic tradition did little to halt medicine as you stipulate. Many of the most important scientific and medical discoveries of mankind were made in the monastaries of Europe. Which, guess what, were of religious inclinations. In fact, had it not been for the Catholic Church and the drive of Christians to learn during the Middle Ages (particularly in Ireland) the entire Latin education method would've been lost and the perceived "dark age" of the Germanic migrations during the death throes of Rome would've lasted far longer (mind you, there is also the dark age of the 900-1100s spurred on by a whole different factor, the Vikings, whom were also migrating due to a population explosion).

I find myself labeling all females - well, all girls my age, at least - as utterly untrustworthy. The development of my first and only girlfriend being unfaithful, coupled with my soon-after move to college, has quite honestly frightened me. At school, it seems, cheating and infidelity are just a matter of fact. I know a considerable number of people, mostly girls, who have an attitude regarding relationships that really turns me off of the sex as a whole. It's a sort of mentality that, as long as one's significant other is not aware of any infidelity, it's perfectly acceptable. Even encouraged, maybe, since the nightly hookup seems to be a cornerstone of the social scene.

I've met few attractive girls - attractive not solely in a physical sense, but in any respect - who stray from the norm. I could not trust my heart to someone who sees nothing wrong with declaring her love for me while, at the same time, doing God know what with God knows who. I've seen it at least twice in my first semester: someone laments their troubled relationship with a boyfriend or girlfriend back home, but takes every opportunity to hook up or sleep with a mess of other people at school.

Danke. I'm seen as an odd duck because I think with the proper head on matters, quite like you appear to.

I won't look down on the folk that do that. That assumes my high horse has been enshrined and deified upon a mighty fine pillar. But I just don't see what the groovetacularity with overly free sex is. But that's just me. I ain't here to judge.

But NSNick is a bad person. I'm not judging. Just stating bold faced facts.
