So let me see if I understand this... You want to make it so that if Yoshi eats a Fire Flower, he turns into Red Yoshi, a mushroom is Yellow Yoshi, and a feather is Blue Yoshi... And if he gets hit he turns into Green Yoshi, right?

That... Doesn't seem infeasible... But it'd definitely take some ASMwork. LM can't do anything like that alone.
