I'm going to start giving out penalties for answers which are obviously wrong, guys. Don't keep doing that.

New rules, which will be appended to the initial post once Katw gets on: It is your own responsibility to pay attention to the puzzle. If the host makes a mistake, they will correct it in due time. If the mistake is not corrected by the end of the round, someone may point out the error to recieve two points. Any guesses which rely on the host being wrong, or which are simply impossible with what is given *and do not add to the puzzle* (for example, STYLE after someone has already said SPACE which was counted as SPACE), will result in a point being deducted from the score of the offending player. And example of something which can't be right, but adds to the puzzle is any word given at the start which does not begin with the right letter, but which contains several vowels and thus when identified narrows down the answer by a great deal. If something like that happens, points will not be deducted. In addition to the standard bonus puzzle, there will periodically be type 2 bonus puzzles. In them, a word is selected at random between seven and ten letters, and a word of the same length is selected. The selected word is treated as a guess under normal LINGO rules. For example, if the word was CONCUSSIVE, the hint word might be SHREWMOUSE, counted as SHREWMOUSE. Incorrect guesses on this kind of bonus word will be identified as incorrect only, with no letters of it revealed as being in the correct place or being in the puzzle. These are generally more difficult than the standard bonus puzzle, and a correct guess will result in being given 5 points. After a normal LINGO puzzle is solved without the bonus being solved, an additional word of the same length will be given, and two points will be removed from the score awarded for completion. After a second LINGO puzzle is solved, a third word is given and another point will be deducted. After a third LINGO puzzle is solved, a fourth word is given and the bonus puzzle's value will become a single point. If it is still not solved after four normal LINGO puzzles are solved, the answer is given away and no points are awarded. RINGS Lingo! CHALLAH - No. CHAPEAU - No. CHATEAU Lingo! Scoreboard:

It was just a bunch of explosive powder that had gotten in my fingernails. Since I had just eaten dessert, I assumed dark chocolate had somehow gotten in there. It was pretty much tasteless, so no, no taste brought it to my attention, either. It took me awhile to put two and two together and realize what it was. So yeah, it wasn't a lot; maybe about a teaspoon's worth. Did I mention you guys suck?
