| So basically what you're saying is that I'll always be remembered for taking a badass warrior and making him into a badass fisherman?
... The hell? |

| Eh. It shows up near the back, but randomly. At any given time you check, it isn't going to be anywhere in the pond. | |||

Kyouji has figured out way to be even more lazy! See if you can find it.

| Ha, ha, ha. I got owned today. Note to self: Never study for your finals. It means you don't have time to do anything trivial! (edited by Alastor the Stylish on 03-19-06 04:56 AM) |

| So am I just the only one who thinks the entire style of the story forum is incredibly silly and not worth doing, then? | |||

| Okay guys.
I've been writing a Yugi Mutou FAQ for Jump Super Stars for GameFAQs, since the one currently up is really bad and Yugi's my favorite character in that game (No, YOU shut up). It is just... Sad. I'm not even halfway through and the FAQ is already bigger than the one already up, even with its pointless filler ![]() |

The vast majority of the length of my FAQ, so far, comes from the length of the notes I wrote down about every attack. I'm a hell of a lot more detailed than the other guy. Just compare the two: His: Forward + Y: Curse of Dragon Notes: Yugi waves his arm as the Curse of Dragon appears above him and lets loose with flame in front of him. Damage: 13 Mine: Yugi summons Curse of Dragon above and in front of him to blow fire diagonally down in front of him. Yugi cannot move until the end of the attack, lasting 11 frames. The attack damages on frames 5 through 8. It hits from about one and a half to three and a half character lengths away in front of Yugi, and it hits characters above him up that are about between one and two character lengths from him. The move has a sweet spot where it hits twice. This is located about three character lengths away directly in front of Yugi. The sweet spot is larger for characters slightly in the air. There is another sweet spot where the move hits three times. This can only hit characters on the platform immediately above the one Yugi, and is located in a precise margin within approximately one and a quarter character lengths from Yugi. The opponent must remain on the platform above Yugi in order to be hit by all three hits; if they are knocked off prematurely it will only hit with two. Also, Above him and about two character lengths from him the attack will deliver two hits. (Obviously, these two do not work in arenas with no near platforms, or under slippery platforms.) Damage: 13 per hit, up to 3 hits I defy you to find a way that mine isn't as good. |

It totally doesn't work. I tried that, it just give a black screen. Lately it isn't even going to the title screen. In fact it seems to get worse every time I try ![]() |

| It's not done, KATW. I still need to format it obviously. I'm just saying that it's a lot more useful as it contains much more useful information than simply saying it does damage. | |||

| Yeah, I'm working on developing a better format to use than "in the order I scrawled down the notes while carefully observing it" don't worry about that. Here's an example of it. I just hadn't gotten to applying it to the strong attacks yet... I used that as an example because there's really quite a difference in the things about it that he didn't write down.
Here's an example of the notation I'm using... FFB: Gaia the Fierce Knight (Weak) Yugi summons Gaia the Fierce Knight (Japanese Ankoku Kishi Gaia) and dashes forward with it in front a bit faster than he normally runs. Attack length: 13 frames Damaging frames: 7-11 Attack range: .25 to 3.5 character lengths away, hits characters on platforms just above the one Yugi is on Notes: A successful hits knocks the opponent down. Damage: 10 Presumably this is better. Note that how to use the attack is covered in the play style and general strategy section, not the movelist. |
