Anyway, I'm just going directly to newreply.php and reading the thread from there. Bypasses the problem, heh.

But it's still annoying, and I hate this.

Lord knows I could do that. I definitely have the room in tiles I will never use.

However, I do not believe it would fit the style I want.

you obviously lack the READING COMPREHENSION skill. Combos, in any game that has this sort of fighting form, is not "do crazy joystick motion and light punch", its a string of attacks that link together and have zero downtime/recovery time between hits.

Combo can mean either of those, and both suck anyway. People abuse zero-downtime attacks (DK's ground slap anyone?) enough without the game rewarding them for it.
Lozl. The ground slap sucks

And no, if it's a complex series of button presses to use a specific move, it is not generally referred to as a combo (though technically it does fit the definition).

I'm going to have to ask you to cease and desist on the in-jokes, lest one of you be unexpectedly defenestrated.

I teleported you up to the sixth story of the building I'm currently in, then backhanded you out the window, then teleported you back to your basement after you hit the ground.

So like. I just spent the last hour playing yugioh against this guy who sucked at yugioh.

It was quite sad, really.

Re: Yugioh

No, he was able to damage me thanks to some lucky topdecks, but it was pretty one-sided. At the end, I had a Dark Scorpion - Meanae the Thorn in defense position and a D.D. Assailant in attack position... My hand was The Creator, two Meanaes, Heavy Storm, and Reinforcement of the Army. He just had a set monster and one card in his hand, and he was down quite a bit of lifepoints. I played Reinforcement of the Army to get The Creator Incarnate, summoned it, tributed it for The Creator, discarded Meanae to get Exiled Force from my grave, tributed Exiled to destroy his set monster, flipped Meanae to attack, and hit him for 5000 damage, winning.

Surely the sheer situationality of the cards involved, combined with how many were required to get it off, makes that utterly pointless as an actual strategy.

Either way, so long as it brings back what we all love, Ill be happy with this game. Its smash bros for crying out loud... (Though I do admit that the controller is SERIOUSLY making me cringe right now... )
First off,

Second off, for the last time CONTROLLER ATTACHMENTS. I wouldn't be surprised if it uses the gamecube controller again.
